It’s interesting though Apulsoft’s reverb is perhaps a cleaner algorithmic verb. Hard to see that’s it’s better than Liquidsonics either but I like the spectral thing for convenience.

I Agree. NOTHING beats Liquid Sonics. They are the only Rvb plugs you'll ever need.

This reverb is not bad, but have you looked at Liquid Sonics Reverbrate? It does everything RICE does, plus it's a Briscasti replacement, and it nicks Liquid Sonics other reverbs too. Reverbrate is their first reverb - the one all their other products have sprung from. Instead of killing it, it's now on Version 3, and it's a knob-twister's delight. It's got every control you need to do anything you want to an IR, including morphing two IR's - mono or stereo to mono or stereo. Just sayin' 🙂

I own it even since version 2 :) It's crazy good, true, but it's something completely different than Rice for me...

Im testing it since released but im not sure if i like it. Sometimes i need more depth and i cant reach it with rice. Acustica audio should invest more time for a faster interface. It feels so slow and laggy.

hows the cpu usage? silver was a beast that crushed most computers

@ After you asked, I had to take a closer look. I have a 12900k processor and was able to open 130+ instances of rice in reaper. I was able to load silver about 60 times, then my DAW crashed. I tested the whole thing with anticipative fx on and 128 samples.

I dont like it. I got it and its over rated for me. Everything sounds the same on it. You litterally don't need this. They simply Throw large spaces from a verb unit , use chorusy fx and delay tools to get the effect its being sold to do. That's all this is for all the $$$$ you throw for it. It's also cpu hungry so I stopped using it. I instead switched to stutter, cluster delay and using that with lex reverbs. Same but much better results with 1/4 the cpu used.

Liquid Sonics is the best software reverb hands down. I know my reverbs. The only thing I can get to sound nicer than Liquid Sonics is my Hardware Source Audio VENTRIS Dual Reverb Pedal. (Nothing can beat the NEMESIS for delay either). If you want the best, you should really try em out.

Honestly I kinda thought her voice sounded cooler ‘dry’. 🤔 If you haven’t reviewed yet, I hate to even share how much I’ve liked blackhole immersive (bought on sale over Holidays). Benn Jordan pointed out how smooth the tails were. It definitely ‘feels’ good (for a plug-in)..& not even that much CPU. Also, I’m ok hearing about Ukraine. Bless you buddy ❤
