Hi Possum Patty, interesting little treasures…. The Rhinestone item you mentioned might be a napkin ring is in fact, to hold a scarf or sash together around your neck. Scarf clip.

I had fun watching you show us all the miniatures that were in the box. I love the Japanese miniatures. You might be able to use the really small ones as charms for a tassal.

Oh, I love miniatures. It's fun to look at the box full of stuff. Some of the items marked Japan could have been made in Occupied Japan.

Those are little dust collectors!! I have one little pitcher left from a little tea set I had gotten as a child. I guess I broke the rest. It is very tiny, maybe an inch high and it's from Japan. The little cups and square saucers are cute. Some people love the miniatures. You could sell the miniature birds as a lot on Ebay, and the cups/saucers the same. I guess I'd toss the broken ones. Anyone collecting miniatures would probably bid on them if you listed them on Ebay, all of the items together. Good luck!! Good luck with all the craft room organizing too!! You will be busy! Blessings and bubbles!!

That was fun watching you go through the box. I would love to know the story as to why such an odd collection. The pieces that were broken must have meant something special that they were kept even though they were broken. I'm glad I dont have to clean all those itty bitty pieces 🤣
@LinaLeBlanc-l1v20 күн бұрын
Was that some Wade's Whimsies ? Those pieces are highly collectible. That little lady has her hands full, with all those kids. I love the sweet little Dutch girl . I collect pieces made in Japan. Mainly the kitchy stuff. Love, love, love it 🥰✨

Like the coke, dishes, animals (pets)would be cool for them too. So be careful they don't steal it. 🤔Happy Holidays. Huge HUGS and Peace. Namesta 🐞❄️🐞

im going through my craft stash again and getting rid of things i no longer use/want/need. i also found the wax seals so i am going to be getting those out to you soon. those minis remind me of a shelf my grandma had at her house with a bunch of tiny little knick knacks on it

ahhhh i LOVE miniatures!!! i especially love those vintage things, and i am obsessed with that needle holder. lol the "r*tarded" on the back of that pin really shows its age😅 that's no longer acceptable to say (and neither is eskimo in case you didnt know, but do care!) and the dutch milkmaid aw, love love love! I've been trying to collect things that remind me of home so that would get on my shelf asap. sad about the broken birds, but i feel like i could repaint some clay to fix the pigeons, they're so darling! loved watching you pull every single one out though😊 thanks for sharing! hope that your new room setup will help you get access to things better, and forget about less stuff you got! it works well with your "no spend" challenge going on, too. bet you found some things you forgot about all together 😊💘 much love from our frosty lake 🩵☃️ take care!

The round black thing from Cracker Jacks is probably the bottom of the round stripe thing (has a red stripe) above it and is probably a vintage toy top or spinning toy.

Howdy Possum Patty👋 Organization always comes with making a BIG MESS before it’s organized. I miss seeing Miss Titi💕 I know that little brown cow was from the tea and I spotted more in the box. My Mother-in-Law had collected them as well. Oh and before i forget to tell you…. the white girl with gold trim I think maybe that salt ceramic and it will dissolve in water? Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas 🎄

Hi Patty, since 2012 I owned a display cabinet with 6 shelves, so I had 6 'rooms': a living, a kitchen, a bedroom, a musicroom, an office and the garden. I made a lot myself, other things I bought on a large yearly market nearby. Now I decluttered my appartment very thorough and I get rid of the cabinet, and I kept 3 rooms, the kitchen, the music room/office and the living room. The rest I gave to a harity thriftstore to sell. It is lovely stuff you have, think the Fairies will be pleased. My Sophia 🧚♀️ loves her coffeecup very much 😊 Bye bye dear, love Anjo 👋👋⚘🧚♀️💖

Oh and the 3 rooms stand on the bookshelves now, one at the time. Miniaturen are sooo sweet. I have a little piano too 🎶

Suggestion, throw broken things in the trash and give the rest to a good will store ❤

Howdy, Anjo! Thank you for sharing about your miniatures! Chuckle... my sisters are de-cluttering by giving the "stuff" to me! Now I've got too much! Oh, well... Some I"ll keep... others I'll find a new home for them. 🕊️ _“I heard a bird sing in the dark of December. A magical thing. And sweet to remember. We are nearer to Spring than we were in September. Heartbreaking the so many of the little treasures are damaged. Maybe enjoyed by some active grandchildren over the years? No doubt, some of these items are familiar to miniature collectors in your community. Perhaps some of them will make their way to a better quality of life!!
