Janis Paige was a real talent. On an episode of The Fugitive she sings. She was older than star David Janssen by nine years and outlived him by 44 years.

I'm glad Betsy did a good job as that man's secretary. Nobody could look into that face and say "You're fired!"

I think it was featured a couple of times on the show that Betsy's mom ran a business school, so she learned well right from her mom. On one episode, Betsy receives a shorthand letter from her mom to see if she can read it... and I've heard Betsy say that she did pretty well using all of her secretary and bookkeeping skills - with the exception of her shorthand.

At this time in Apl 2023 Ms. Paige is the lone surviver . Ma. Myerson at 90 and Ms. Palmer in her late eighties gave her a good run as far as length of life . We men as usual came short up as far as life span. By the way most of panel have something in common with Ms. Paige . Both were in movies with Doris Day .

Garry Moore, Bill Cullen and Henry Morgan were all heavy smokers; neither Bess Myerson nor Betsy Palmer smoked. You do the math.

I loved Betsy just beaming while exclaiming "Henry has some of the same things I do!" right before realizing what happened. What a blonde moment! Also, referencing Betsy's joke about Bill needing to play Price is Right, for anyone who isn't aware, Bill Cullen was the then current host of The Price is Right on NBC. He hosted the show on NBC from '56 til 63' when the show left for ABC. Cullen remained the host til 65 when it was cancelled (before returning with Bob Barker). Meaning at one point Bill Cullen was appearing on CBS, NBC and ABC at the same time.

That's really interesting about Bill Cullen. But I think I'm missing something? I assume that means this show, I've Got a Secret, was on CBS. You say he was the current-then host of The Price is Right on NBC. In what capacity was he also performing on ABC at the same time? And I bet there's very few TV personalities who can boast the same credentials! Lol. All 3 networks at the same time. (Short of an important news report going out on all networks simultaneously; i.e. Presidential elections or assassinations of important people.)
@maxdecphoenix
@maxdecphoenix Жыл бұрын
@@feliciagaffney1998 when Price moved to ABC in 1963, Cullen still hosted it for 2 more years. So he was appearing on ABC on Price, twice a day; daytime and primetime. Then he had "I've Got a Secret!" on NBC; and 'To Tell the Truth' on CBS. In addition to still doing some radio broadcasting. So basically from 63 to 65, he was a participant in the primetime slot of all three Networks.

I am appalled that they didn't use special white gloves to handle that precious and very old Bible and that Garry precariously leaned his arm. Body oil can't deteriorate these artifacts.

Or I was wondering if the studio repurchased things for the actors. Lol. It was quite rude to take things that might have sentimental value... like the cookbook, clock, or the pillow... Socks, candles, and booze are more easily replaced. Lol.

Sad when The Lord’s Holy Bible to AND for all human beings is only the $$$$ amount, when HIS words upon the pages means nothing. But HE does tell us to pay attention to HIS return in the clouds at the rapture when we, HIS born again Christian children worldwide, will be caught up with HIM, in the twinkling of an eye, and we will be with HIM for eternity in Heaven. Those left behind who chose to reject HIM will go through the great tribulation.

@Daniel Benson. The words in the 1611 King James Authorized Version of the Holy Bible which is inerrant and infallible are extremely meaningful. You should not say that the words on the pages are nothing because that isn't true. John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:14 says "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." These two verses clearly show that God's Holy Word is Jesus Christ. Therefore, you are blaspheming God when you say that the pages are nothing. The rest of your comment is correct. We're in the Church Age right now. After the Church Age will be the Rapture when we true born again Christians will meet Jesus Christ in the air at the twinkling of an eye and we'll go to Heaven with Him. All of those who are remaining on Earth will have to go through The Great Tribulation.
