Yeah, there are very few days when there is no wind here… 😂 And KC has woods, but there is only one that is wooded enough to block all the wind… and that’s a putter course… 😂

I bag Maidens both for throwing and putting and I've found them to be ridiculously consistent - never had one turn and burn unless I griplock it into the ground. They handle forehand flicks as well. The new Matty-O Maidens feel sooooo nice too. And the Evader, such a great disc. Paired with a Maverick it's a knock out 1-2. Another great video!

Oh yeah! I can definitely see how the Maiden would be good with forehand with how shallow it is! And the Evader is for sure an underrated mold. I don't think enough people throw the Evader, it's amazing!

Great video! I am pretty sure that the Maiden that Molt throws is the Moonshine Maiden. That's the one he got out of the Westside Queen box that came out. I just remember that because they're releasing one in the next HandEye box that comes out this month, and I was super stoked for it after seeing his video. Keep up the great work!

The Fuzion-X Felon (Eric Oakley Team Series) is something you definately want to try. The dump at the end of the flight is insane. Also the plastic feels really good

I have the orbit felon. Which I love for straight flights with a huge dump. Is it worth getting a second Felon in Fuzion X or Lucid ice for a different flight?

@@Dave-tl7ol I think that's personal preference. Like I prefer to have as little molds in my bag as possible. So I would rather have a couple Felons that cover a few different slots in the bag than have 2 different molds for those flights.

@@Dave-tl7ol the Fuzion-X one is definately a different flight, way more overstable. I haven't thrown a Lucid-X one but they're supposed to be even more overstable than that. Lucid-ice I'm not too sure about but I think it's slightly more OS than the Orbit one is

Do you powergrip your throwing putters? If you do, I highly suggest you try fan gripping them just for a round or two. It cleans up the wobble from the release really fast and at least for me it was easy to learn throwing with a fan grip

Yeah, I just powergrip everything. I use to fan grip stuff when I was a few years in, but I just switched to powergriping everything because it was more comfortable and it works for me! Even on approaches!

What would be the most over stable to less stable plastic for the justice I have a lucid justice and it isn’t as over stable as I wanted

Lucid-X would be the most overstable, followed by Lucid-Ice, then Lucid. Gold Line would typically be slightly less overstable than Lucid. If you're looking for something more overstable than a Justice then you might need to disc up to something like a XXX.

Yeah the Lucid-x ones are the most overstable! Or you might just need a newer Justice? I haven't found a Justice that is not as overstable as I wanted! those things are beefy!

I'm putting together a Trilogy only bag and having a hard time finding a replacement for my Luna. Would the Maiden fit that slot? Not necessarily in the Tournament-X plastic of course.

I believe the Maiden is beaded and shallower. Closest in feel might be a warden and in flight might be an Agent

@@gamingnoob4417 I would definitely prefer something without a bead on it. I have small hands and beaded discs make my grip feel awkward. I have a lucid warden but unsure if that would be close to the Big Z Luna.

Yeah, the Maiden does have a bead! I should have mentioned that in the video. But the Warden would probably be the closest to the Luna. The rim of the Warden sticks out a little more I think, so it feels a touch bigger in the hand imo. But the flights are nearly identical! I would say the Agent feels more like a P2 than a Luna! on the deeper side and I think they are more overstable? But I haven't thrown one yet!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Have been wondering about the new Gavin Felon vs Lucid and Lucid-x for a week now. My lucid felon has become a completely straight flyer with nice glide and late fade, so I've been looking for an more overstable felon that can handle big flex lines and big skip shots, which my lucid can't anymore. Do you think the Gavin Felon can handle this, or should I opt to get a Lucid-x instead? For reference I live in Denmark, where we are at 34 meter above sea level and about 15 kmh headwinds at most (normally 2-10 kmh wind). Great video and nice comparison for all the discs and flights.

Yeah, this Gavin Rathbun one should definitely work for that! The Lucid-x will give you more flex and bigger skips. So it just depends on what you want! But this should still hook up in any wind like what you explained! And should flex very nicely!

I absolutely loved the maiden for two weeks. Then the new disc stability wore off and it was just too understable for what I wanted to do with it. New it was amazing. It goes shockingly far for a "putter" and has no fade. It'd be interesting in a premium plastic, for sure.

Oh yeah, that is a really good comparison! I would say the Evader is a touch more stable than an Eagle-L, in no wind I think the Eagle-L turns every so slightly, when the Evader stays pretty straight with no wind! And I would say the Glory is more overstable than an Eagle-X... but its been a really long time since I have thrown one of those! So my memory could be off!

I haven't held an eagle-x in quite a while, but I would say the blocky edge of the wing is a little bigger than the eagle? and maybe a little more overstable? But again, it has been a LONG time since I have held or thrown an eagle!

Correct. The nose on the Glory is definitely wider and blockier than the Eagle or Banshee.
