I want to complement by blessing the body of Christ with this wisdom: When you do what God has assigned you the devil resists you like he resisted Jesus usually through evil men like Pharisees. When you don't do what God has assigned you, God himself resists you like Jonah even through nature. So the kind of resistance you face and particularly the kind of people or things behind that resistance can help you discern if you are really fulfilling God's assignment for you or not.
