Sune: please listen to Prof. Pat Utomi because he is talking sense. According to the Professor, he is forming a Mega Party. This is time is the formation period that will move Nigeria forward. He is laying the groundwork for a forward thinking party with certain laudable principles to guide the country. May God continue to bless Nigerians who are trying to make a country we all want and need. jtsdrd, USA

I have a question for you all of those that he has mentioned Kwankwaso, obi and Atiku. Do you think they are have such passionate to work together for better Nigeria or for themselves? Again who are the politicians that will work with them. Are they the same politicians we are having now because what is saying is not just about you amd me but about the politicans that have built themselves into the system.

100% correct. Pat stands for prudence that’s why he helped create the APC before it was eventually captured by Buhari and Theifnubu. When Pat realized that the criminal cartel had captured the APC, he did what any honorable person would do - distance himself from the criminality. He has a good ideology for Nigeria but the current political class is as corrupt as corrupt can be. I wish Nigeria well

The intellectuals knows that Tinubu defeated Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso with facts and figures. How many people voted for Obi in South West apart from Lagos where Igbo dominated, How many people voted for Obi in the North, Datti even lost his polling unit to PDP or is it Tinubu that stole that for PDP, Atiku won defeated both Tinubu and Obi in the North or is it Tinubu that stole vote for PDP in the north to on him. Tinubu won the Presidency because he was able to get good numbers of junks of votes across the north and south east.

What about posting all those vote that Tinubu won so that everyone can see that Tinubu defeated Obi?. Why was the uploading of the result blocked?. Prof Utomi is very disappointed at the Country Nigeria. It is a pity that when you put in all efforts into something but it doesn't work, lose faith in all you have being doing. The question my friend Pat did not answer is how will the new political party capture power from the APC that has institutionalized rigged election such as what we all experienced this last election cycle? How could Obi win in Rivers State and INEC announced Tinubu as the winner and there’s no recourse to the courts for justice? That’s the key question. You may have all the ideas but since the society you live has been captured by the cr1minals, how then do you think they can let go? Only a civilian revolution would lead to the leaders of the ethnic groups to convene a meeting to fashion out the best form of governance. I believe it’s either a clear confederation or breakup into st least 5 countries as happened in the erstwhile Yugoslavia. That to me is the only saving grace for the masses of the country.

When I listen to Nigerian journalists at times, I get infuriated at ways they sometimes misdirect the conversations about Nigerian politics. Why is Seun bringing friendship issues and will peter obi be presidential candidate of a party that is just at the rudimentary and formative stage. Please lets discuss more of issues and policies and less of persons. There's too much attention, premium and respect on persons in Nigeria instead of issues and institutions. Everything is built around persons in Nigeria instead of policies and principles. The President is a demi-god, governors are idols, legislators though are just houseboys to President and governors at state levels, but the society sees them as tin-gods, all these clowns are supposed to be servants of the people.

And you can see and feel the laxity of the journalist leading the interview. The man is talking about a country desperate for leadership salvation, and the journalist is asking about the name of a yet to be formed political party or who will be leader ? I don't blame the journalist, like all Nigerians apart from the politicians, Nigeria has also happened to the journalists. Classic politician..deflects questions as much as possible and when he's cornered, it's always someone else's fault for not doing things 'the right way'.. Sadly, until we have parties that have VALUES that they stick to win or lose; governing Nigeria will always not be done 'the right way'. If your party has set policies on issues such as tax, job creation, minimum wage, health, pensions, security..declare these policies and stick to them whether your man is president/governor or not. Fight for these values in the senate and house of representatives. pass bills, establish laws that till show Nigerians that whether you vote for us or not we will always fight for these values. It is truly shocking how many political parties we already have in one country. Forming parties and jumping ship is a sport in Nigeria today. If as Mr Utomi claims, "It's about NIGERIANS", then please STOP creating new parties and set values that align with and implement the Nigerian constitution!

That one is very certain. Utomi was trained by Tinubu but bcos he didn't get what he wanted, he had to betray him not because he loved igbos or Nigerians. He followed Tinubu around like a dog for 20 yrs and git frustrated because he didn't realise his governorship ambition in his state. This is history. Keep it to yourself. None of you have come up to fight the pulling down the military constitution. Nobody is interested. Divide the country. You people have no power to stop the fulanisation of Nigeria. None of you have come out to speak against the northerner plan.

Big lie, what you are accusing others of doing is what you are trying to do. Ariku was there when they formed the power-grabbing APC. OBI was there when with you formed the power-grabbing LP. So it is you Pat who is more sensible, more knowledgeable to form a credible political party. Let's call a spade a spade, all that you are scheming to do is the same power grabbing. Teacher don't teach me nonsense.

I was in the field in the last election even if the whole Nigeria comes to vote against tinubu they will not win. What you need is INEC , judiciary, police and tugs. Votes don't count please.
