The team radio in the app during the race is the greatest innovation from FE, and that's saying a lot 👀

Some of the team environments/lineups seem wierdly hostile or just plain not working. Cassidy seems sick of the team strategies from Jag, JEV/Vandoorne were not playing the team game, Ticktum/Sette also beefing with eachother. Just odd all round.
@anuszkova6 ай бұрын
I have no clue what jaguar is up to with Cassidy but it certainly doesn't look good. I want to believe it was a one-time thing and not the beginning of an attempt to switch the driver on the championship lead. Weird as hell.

And suddenly Sam’s weekend makes a lot more sense after seeing Gunthers move hurt his hand. I thought the direction this weekend was actually quite poor. Things were happening in the mid pack but rarely did we get to see it as they focussed too heavily on the front. More replays were needed

I seriously would like to see screenshots of their WhatsApp group chat after this video. The special home livery made by ERT went completely ignored. Cassidy needs to leave Jaguar, he's not treated as their best performing driver despite being first, with margin, on points 'til now. Da Costa also seems kept out by his own team. Hughes can pass, when this will repeat itself regularly he will chalenge for wins. Still, he runs on borrowed time.

It's crazy how Jag threw the potential growing gap between Nick and Pascal out the window. They could be popping champagne in Portland with the right strategy. Well, not anymore.

@nonamebrand16336 ай бұрын
@@mitchellbennett3695 iirc Pascal was under investigation and Jaguar (like any team really) was being very conservative. Attempting to pass was an unnecessary risk. To Jag, a safe P3 with potential P2 >> potential win with risk of a non-score. Also are we gonna act like Nick doesn't have a healthy margin on Pascal after Shanghai?? Folks out here acting like they threw the championship already. They still can, so that's not to say that I don't question their team strategy, just that in this case it made sense

Someone can explain what crypto means?
@discflame6 ай бұрын
Their battery levels are encrypted into strings of letters so that other teams can't crack them, and every time they cross the finish line their engineer will ask for the crypto. you'll hear fenestraz say it at 8:49 and the engineer replies that it's an ok energy level. no idea why FE does this
@kai325d36 ай бұрын
@@discflame It's more than just energy levels.
@csl___6 ай бұрын
They do this because the radio is available in the app for anyone to listen to live in the race, so opposing teams would listen to other teams' radio to find out their energy levels if it wasn't encrypted. They already do this to hear whether other teams will be doing attack mode, for example. The energy level for all cars is only available to everyone when it's shown on TV - otherwise teams only known their own levels (and maybe customer teams')
@nonamebrand16336 ай бұрын
@@discflame They encrypt them cuz that can give away strategy. Mind you, no one knows anyone else's energy until the numbers come up on TV, so they would like to keep it to themselves as much as possible until then
