Zamorak, Lord of Chaos has become one of my favorite boss fights in RuneScape 3! With all the salvage & alchable drops, I'm essentially printing gp with my alchemizers 😂 (don't tell the IRS! 😳) Have you tried out the Zamorak, Lord of Chaos encounter?

Definitely excited to see Zamorak content. I'd like to give it a shot after I finish off Kerapac but I'm extremely nervous about trying new things in this game lol. Looks really cool though! Great video as always :)

I was the same way for a while, primarily due to death costs. It honestly is worth slapping on a ring of death and just going head on into it until you get it down because it does pay off. They will be reworking death costs soon™️ so ROD may not be needed for much longer.

@@RheyoRS Death costs aren't even what I'm worried about. Whether that's because my lack of switches or just very expensive gear or whatever else my death cost is only around 700k which I'm not worried about. It's the mental block of thinking I won't be able to do it that really gets me. Still excited for death cost rework for those with significantly higher costs than me though.

I get that as well, I’d definitely encourage you to just go for it! I personally make things out to be way more complicated than they are in my head, but once you start doing an encounter you start to see how to handle each mechanic.

when i came back i started bossing, had some pernix armor and thats about it. took me about 8 months to boss and get enough GP to officially have BIS ranged. quite the journey!

Yea. I love giving away stuff too. The only difference is that I give it away on my channel, not to randoms in game. I have everyone who wants it to put a chosen keyword in the comments and then I use a random KZbin comment picker to pick a winner, then I give them a week to respond to my comment saying they won, if they don't respond, I use the yt picker to pick another one. I like to do it to help the less fortunate too but it's really hard nowadays because of the huge amount of alts in the game. It's hard to tell who truly needs help sometimes. Lol

Yeah that’s how I’ve done my previous giveaways, it’s good for rewarding the community albeit a bit tedious with how RuneScape trading requires player to player interaction, like I can’t send a ingame mail to someone for them to receive in login. It would be super convenient that way.

Hey bud, how'd you pull off the d bow spec after killing the mage in infernus and going back to zammy? Can you list the exact steps, like do you hit extra action, then d bow spec, then tc or? Thanks!

After killing the witch, i use extra action and Devo during the teleport so that it doesn’t take adrenaline. When I’m back on Zammy, I’ll build up with basics, and when the pad is about half way, I’ll ecb spec, grico, sgb, snapshot if possible, otherwise basic until adrenaline recharges, then dbow spec to finish. I repeat that on every edict

Literally baffles me how you’re doing those times and I’m doing 4:50 with the new bow …. I don’t know what abilities to do to be able to phase him on every pad … I’ll phase some but not others

It took me a while to get to these times, but you have to time your bursts. I dps his grey bar to about 10k before going to witch, then when I get back down I’ll have his grey bar down to 1hp, so that when the pad charges, it’ll flip to his hp, then I’ll do sgb - basic - darkbow. It’s important to make sure you flip his hp from his barrier to his true HP. Even if you deplete his barrier health, it won’t do flip to his actual hp without another hit. Same goes for hitting the witch spawn threshold. You have to deplete the health completely, then hit one more time to phase. If you have him at 1hp and sgb spec, the first hit will be sniped and chances are the rest could hit “immune” as well, which wastes your sgb spec

Yeah just delay it a bit, make sure his hp is green before spending and you’ll notice a huge difference

Crypt could be a bit of a hinderance due to it being tank armor, if you have some power armor I’d highly suggest giving that a go!

You tried out hexhunter bow at Zammy yet? I'm using one fully perked and enchanted atm and it's pretty good, but I suck with 2H ranged because despite being a ranged main I've camped my blights for years lol, so I'm wondering how it performs for someone that actually knows what they're doing xd

I’ve honestly considered it, but I just can’t justify the cost of it atm as it would be a pretty big setback for what I believe would be a minor difference. There’s a lot of times where I do more damage than I need to as is.

@@RheyoRS Fairs, it made sense for me to grab one because I don't have sgb or ecb and for 2H all I had was a nox bow so I just grabbed it as a stepping stone to sgb while I farm zammy, I feel like it should be performing better than it does, but I've literally only been using bows for like 4 days now lol

Zammy is a tough test to be fair, even after getting my ECB upgrade, my kill times were slower for a while. It didn’t really start getting faster until I got used to it. I’m sure it’ll perform well once you settle into a good rotation.

I skip all special mechanics by phasing Zammy prior to him triggering a special. It’s also the second special attack out of ahis special attack rotation, so even if I miss the skip on the first special, i can still avoid it by skipping the rest throughout the fight.

range is faster than fsoa since they can sgb/dbow/ecb every single pad while fsoa has a 1min cd. In sweaty groups they usually only take range campers or mage/melee hybriding

Yeah I could see that, I originally tried this out with melee, but even with melee being my favorite style, I don’t really enjoy zamorak with it. Range here, especially with this setup, feels very fluid.

Why dont ppl charge the first pad immedietly? I went w group for first time today and daaamn it felt like a waste. But that could just be coz im meleeing. Is there no way its actually better for maybe rangers / magers as well to not waste first 15-20s on just not charging? Surely thats more time than it takes to build to a 100% (aka it cant be ”missed adren” or w/e) so however i try to think of it i cant understand why, can you please explain

Also i personally do 246 135, smoother since pads are closer to eachother + you deal with the traps last. Is there any reason you do the edicts in the order than you do?

It’s not 15-20s wasted, but I delay it by maybe 5-6 seconds to make sure I have enough adrenaline to burst Zammy so that I skip his specials. Getting hit by a special attack causes me to waste more time/adrenaline by using defensives, whereas avoiding it all together saves time and resources. My average 50% killtimes are around 3:45 using range. When I was doing this with melee, bursting him down was a lot quicker initially but the luring and placement is just tedious which takes up a lot of time all together, so the methods are pretty different imo. When it comes to group, the trio from this video was able to get a 3:06 pb, which started off with charging pretty much asap. There’s times where the pad glitches out and doesn’t charge when the witch is killed, so it requires the base to step off and step back on again. It’s a weird bug, and it doesn’t always happen.

@@RheyoRS I see! A great tip for meleeing is going 246135 as mentioned, leave one mage on the 3rd pad since you dont need to kill both and basically avoid traps. Another good thing to remember if you’ll be trying melee is to surgebd behind the 2nd edict, and then apply roar ezk surge bd to right behind the 4th one and realm. This makes it so his hp gets depleted to 1 and is positioned perfectly when you jump back down. Free devotion zerk and go again. So basically you dont lose too much time on positioning him. And from the 1st pad you wont even need to ezk anymore since cooldowns are reset so ridiculously quick the zerk takes him out entirely + has some time for the mage in the realm if you’re fast enough. Its a lot of fun to melee zammy imo, however not above 100%… I cant seem to get past 150 w melee 💀😂

Hey, my ping varies quite a bit depending on time of day, and it has to do with the rs3 servers I'm pretty sure, because every day around reset my ping is pretty bad on my homeworld despite displaying no issues. Ideal ping is around 20-23ms for me, but around reset it feels closer to 100ms (deadclicks, rubberbanding, unresponsiveness, etc.) I like to play prior to work when possible and do these recordings, but lots of the stream footage is at night for me so it's hit or miss on how reliable the ping is.

Zammy is disgusting money if you put in the effort. I just wanted the bow without dropping 7-20b (based on timing), so solo'd till bow and eventually title (was 1 rare off title by the time I finished bow). I think in total from all the commons and rares I walked away with around 18b gp, and I was unlucky in the sense I only got 3 bow pieces in 1300kc. Some people have nearly 3x the bow pieces by then, so goodluck to everyone and get that bread!
