THANKS FOR THIS GUIDE! 2 days ago i watched it, died over 30 times on that boss. Now i am 8 full clears in at normal mode and last kill i did almost foodless, at 9 min 50 sec! Keep it going man! and yes i have shit gear just as you do on the video :D

Amazing to hear. If you're almost foodless now it means 1. You're doing it better than me LOL, and 2. You've really gotten used to the mechanics. It sounds like you could try 50% enrage for the slightly better droprates, and maybe see how you feel about 100 soon... Tbh though I still haven't seen anyone do 100% with a setup that deals less than 450k dpm.

While most of your guides are a bit chaos sometimes, jumping to different 'things to do', they are always very detailed. Not just do this here and do that there. You always explain why you need to do this or that here and there. Takes the edge of these kind of fights ;). Still very nice!

Pvm noob here. Could you maybe do a guide of Zamorak with necromancy? Or maybe some useful tips to kill him with necromancy gear? I both have the tier 90 tank and power amour sets, and weapons too, but since I've neglected invention, I don't have access to the good perks yet. Some other questions: 1) I didn't quite get why I had to pray melee when the black smoke appears and then run underneath Zammy? 2) If the first pad increases his damage, wouldn't it be best saved for last?

I've thought about doing a Necro guide for this, but haven't gotten around to trying it myself first. Still on my list though. To answer your questions: 1. Deflect Melee is needed to not take a ton of damage during the black smoke attack because he hits you very fast multiple times for heavy Melee damage. Walking under him is to "soak up" the black smoke because the less smoke is out, the less damage you take from the second mechanic of this attack (the timer above your head runs out and you get hit with a typless damage explosion on you). It's a confusing one tbh because there are multiple things to deal with in one mechanic. 2. The pad order is up for a lot of discussion, and its a matter of any order you activate them sucks, so you try to find the order that sucks the least. It's true that activating the fist pad first will give him the biggest raw damage boost, but generally speaking it's worse to have the other pads build up more stacks by activating them first instead. Like I said this is flexible to your own experimentation. Btw, if you want to try 100+ enrage eventually, the order of the stacks in the pads is flipped for Phase 7, so everything changes again there. This is also a very complex mechanic lol.

If I dive him while he casts Flames of Zamorak does that mean I'll take more damage, because there is less smoke to be absorbed ?

Haven't tried it, but I'm sure that would be the case since you skip over tiles.

No. You take less damage for each stack. Each smoke adds 1% piercing damage. Just Dive right next to him when he starts that attack

The smoke doesn't track you until he hits the ground with his wings. So you can dive right next to him and get the lowest damage from the explosion.

I have an easier time with zammy than raxi mostly because of the damage reflect spider and the instant kill is more fair with zammy
