The name "Jíbaro" is used here in Puerto Rico ( I am from Puerto Rico ) as the name to identified the people who lives in the country mountain side of the island and is the hard worker of the land that cultivates agriculture. Traditional jíbaros were also farmer-salesmen who would grow enough crops to sell in the towns near their farms to purchase the bare necessities for their families, such as clothing. The Jíbaro values and way of life are oftentimes associated with the rich heritage and positive culture of Puerto Rico, as well as with the authenticity, resourcefulness and craftsmanship of the Puerto Rican people. These values and way of life include a sense of community, family, and hospitality. From young, children were taught to contribute to the family by, for example, assisting with cleaning and cooking family meals, and for older children, by ironing their own school clothes and polishing their own shoes. Some children were encouraged to look for ways to make money in order to buy anything that was not deemed a “need”. 🥰 Although the episode of the series at Netflix doesn't have anything related to lifestyle of Puerto Rico's Jíbaro it is interesting to seen the word used for a very interesting tale!!!

Its set in PR per some online sites detailing the meaning of the episode. Its meaning is about toxic relationships and how they both didn't win. He wanted her jewels and she was intrigued with him because she could not kill him

hi! also a Puerto Rican here. the word "jibaro" itself has many different meanings across different cultures in latin america, from the proud heritage found in PR to it even being considered a slur in Ecuador(where the word first originated from). i'm not sure what version of Jibaro that episode was trying to portray, that'd require some research into the writers and production team of that episode. but i agree that it definitely wasn't Puerto Rico's version! xD

I know that was my favorite episode! The only thing I didn't like was how they made the whites of her eyes really red and bloodshot. I feel like that really ruined and took away from her beauty. I don't know why but I think it really detracts from the overall effect. It drives me nuts! I know it's most likely a me problem but she just looks like a homeless drug addict with her eyes bright bloodshot red like that.

‼️I agree! And I actually have a theory about why she's wearing so much gold and jewels. The ancient cultures of South America would actually throw in prized jewelry like bracelets, rings, masks tiaras and big stones, and necklaces, coins literally anything valuable into water (usually lakes) to sacrifice it to their god ( the goddess of the underworld I believe it was). So I always figured she was wearing all of that stuff because the ancient people worshipped her as a goddess in the lake and she's wearing as much of the gifts the ancient people sacrificed to her as she possibly can. That's also why there's a lot of coins at the bottom of the lake as well. The men she killed were Spanish conquistadors as well. There's actually a famous lake in South America I can't remember where exactly maybe Peru where the conquistadors try to get all of this gold out of the bottom of the lake but the lake was so deep a lot of them died but they kept trying for literally hundreds of years. So in like the early 1900s they decided we are going to get these pumps and literally drain this lake so we can just pick all of the gold up. And so they drained the lake and the second the lake got shallow enough that sunlight was able to hit the bottom it basically turned it to concrete. So by the time the entire lake was drained the whole bottom was concrete and all of the gold and valuables is sealed away in that concrete and they basically can't get it out now. I just thought it was really funny how many people died trying to get this treasure and the local people told them you can't just take these sacrifices like this. And they still haven't been able to get the 99.99% of it out even with today's modern tech

Creating armor out of thermoplastic, and maybe using a doll horse to create a coiste-bodhar, her companion. Maybe having her hold her head in her arms, with a creepy yet beautiful face paint. And some sort of energy coming from her neck, or painting her spine so it's realistic.

I think when you make the siren, it can feel like a little bit overwhelming at first. But if you think about it, you can never go wrong with this kind of concept. You see its so simple. When you think you had put enough gold, it means it needs more! Its so over the top that putting too much will never be a problem. You don't have to stress over when to stop. Just don't! I just started watching this video, and I just wanted to let you know that another doll recreator has made his own version of this doll about a month ago. His name is SangBupBe and that doll came out beautifully. I'm gonna finish watching this video, and see how your recreation compares to his. Fyi, he took about a month to create his. He put a day counter in the corner of the video. Edit: I like her and I think she's pretty, but honestly, I think SangBupBe did his doll better.
