Such a welcoming surprise to be greeted by a glowing fire - that’s love in action 😊 I am so impressed with your determination to “show up” and do whatever you are drawn to do - today, it was singing and playing the guitar for us 🙏🏻 Such an apt song and you did well - I admire how brave you were, to set aside any self-consciousness and self-judgement, just giving in to the present moment, being present. Also the breaking old patterns, I felt all of that. I’ve been working on similar things, it’s crazy. The body still has symptoms even though we are telling it everything is okay. A lot of times when I post I still have fear, I sweat under my arms then I just do it anyways. Especially when I’m being super vulnerable, so glad you wrangled a fear! You’re so good at guitar, I still have trouble grasping it lmao!

Hi Lisa. I'm just in from work after what feels like a long, cold weary day, and I've been rewarded by opening a video of your beautiful voice and guitar playing. You are such a joy! You are brave and talented - what a combination. Loved the fact that your partner had taken the time to light the for you. Now that's love, right there. I have wanted to play guitar or piano all my life but have never had the opportunity. I always thought that i might learn in my retirement, but arthritic joints have beaten me to it! I am much older than you, but I relate to you so much in my feelings in my body and head. I've been working on it all for so long now, but it's not linear, and the curved balls that life throws us can push us off course from time to time. I do get back on the road, but very often, it takes me much longer than I think it should, and the frustration seeps in. Hey ho! It's life. Thank you for being authentic and brave 🧡

Awesome, love the song, beautiful voice , enjoyed the guitar playing. You are beautiful. I had my thyroid removed in 2012 and it damaged my voice box. I can talk but cant sing or shout. Some notes are just missing. You keep on singing. Its such a privilege to be able to sing.

I'm finding your videos supportive as I make my own way through challenges with anxiety. I am trying to use ideas around Internal Family Systems, where you might talk to the bodily sensations, asking what they want you to know and what they need and then trying to offer nuturing. Havening techniques, like a 'self hug' can be helpful. Arielle Schwatz online offers ideas using polyvagal theory to support felt safety. It's all a bit trial and error I reckon. You singing is so brave and inspiring.
