You've brought tears to an old man's eyes. I've buried most of my family including several of my children. I've begged God to take me but he keeps me here for now. Your song is the question everyone thinks on in the darkness. God bless you for this. Thank you.

Your response touched me deeply. Sometimes we no longer feel important when so much loss around us crushes our soul. We each are here for a reason. Sometimes hanging on is our reason....and sharing that heartbreak with others so they realize they are not alone.

I’m sorry for all your losses. In our pain we become kinder, more empathetic, and expand our influence of love. We spread these things. In my eyes, God has not taken you yet because you fill the people around you with these things. You are still here for a reason and my gut says you are still giving so much of these positive things.

I took care of my mom the remaining two years of her life. I was blessed to witness her conversations with loved ones on the other side. With her eyes closed and the most beautiful smile on her face she continued her conversations not even aware of my presence when I would ask her a question. The most precious moment was when she began speaking to the twin girls my brother and sister-in-law lost at birth. Her voice was so soft and so sweet when she spoke that I began to weep. I believe there is more to this🙏🏻💝

Today my father and I went fishing, just drifting down the Mississippi slowly enjoying nature...Idk how much more time I have with him because he is getting older.... but this song came on and I could hear him tap his foot along with the rhythm....I'll never forget that moment.... the sun was setting and the sky was blazing an amazing hue of colors that was so beautiful 😢and after the song finished the waves lapped against the boat and for a second I remembered every time he took me fishing...and I realized he gave me the greatest gift of all....a wonderful father...and a best friend. I will miss him greatly when he is gone...then it will be my turn to show my kid what it means to be a good father and a good friend...love your family, life's too short to miss an opportunity to share a wonderful moment with them.

@@paulrosas2302it is just a 4/4 measure. The chords are Am C G Capo on 3rd fret. Picking pattern is bass the string under skip a string then up two strings. For example C is 5th string 4th 2nd 3rd. The chorus changes just a bit by adding an Em and picking up the index finger up on the C and removing the ring finger on the G. Hope this helps if you were asking for guitar.

@@chrisknight1856 😭😭 tearful grown man crying hugs.....😭😭 Lol. On the there is something special to be said about a song, that can reach through the speakers and pluck on the strings of your heart just like that🫰 I think that means that it came from the heart, and was created with heart, but it's such a beautiful thing, I think it goes overlooked a lot. Music is really special, and I don't think we give it the credit that it needs sometimes. Don't get me wrong, most of the music these days is crap and is disheartening, But when you get down to the real music, stuff like this, that was made from somewhere deep down in somebody's Soul.... That just, it touches other people's souls too. It's almost like magic. It's amazing actually. Music can touch our hearts and minds and lives in ways that nothing else can

Sending lots of love to you. I’m willing to bet everything I have that this song didn’t accidentally come to you. I’m a 6 year widow - this path is so so hard. Find your strength. Be outside. Take your time. Listen to music. Laugh every chance you get. Lean into your support system. Let your loved ones be the person you would be for them in their time of need. (if you don’t have this - please reach out to a grief support group - you do not have to do this alone. 🌿💚) You are going to discover things about yourself that you never knew were possible. 💪🤟🤝 Remember it is an honor to have loved so fiercely. Grief is just another extension of that love. Travel with it. Embrace it. It may seem as if the world is crashing down every other minute - it doesn’t stop - we just get very good at honoring the waves of fierce love. ❤️ Ever onward, Just Some Internet Stranger 🌷

A song that connects you to the truth. ‘I’ve been seeing this life different ever since you had to go’ - I heard it and felt like the person who had to go was ‘the self’ and suddenly… this song made a lot of sense to me. Thank you for creating something that I can resonate with.

Thank you for putting into words what my heart feels. 💔💔💔 I attempted to save my father's life, and failed. I saw the silken bonds of life leave his body...I will never be the same.

My father said that it takes a special kind of person to be a nurse and I agreed. I would like to add, that it takes an extra special kind of person to be a hospice nurse. Thank you for being extra special. 🙏

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. It's a subject that's always on mind, given my age. There are so many people who have gone home before me that I want to see again, and know that I will.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11

Haunting, inspirational, hopeful, and meaningful. Woke randomly, looked at phone to check time, and this was on. Been thinking of my 91 yr old Mom still with us and a friend who just lost his Dad suddenly and must have listened 30 times - the first time. Soul healing and soothing. Feel free to play this at my funeral one day my friends. This is deeply honest and written for child and reminds me how much I love mine and want to be better for him each day. Song belongs to be a mega hit ‘YellowStone’ style, but because of how it found me will always be private and meaningful moment to me thinking of lost loved one I’ve lost, will lose, and never want to lose. Thank you good sir. Music soothes the soul and you’ve soothed many with your music and story how it came about. Someone get him on the Tonight Show - music is meant to share.😢😊❤

A buddy of mine showed me this song about a week or so ago. While listening to it tonight I prayed to God that He would reveal Himself to you and help you to see that there is more to this. While praying I felt Him saying “why don’t you tell them about Me.” So friends I promise you there is more to this, and it’s eternal life in paradise with a perfect God, with no more pain and suffering, only joy and peace! Jesus loves you so much that He sacrificed Himself for your sins. He was thinking of you while he hung on that cross. Jesus said in Revelation 3:20 “Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and him with Me.” Jesus is knocking at your door today friends. Will you answer?

Amen. Thanks for sharing. I was saved on May 7th, 2018. I heard the gospel and cried out to Jesus, and He saved me from my sin and hell and gave me eternal life. Now I know Him.
