Without doubt the best plumber on KZbin, not only knowledgeable but just about as real as it gets, I love this channel and the variety of content has taught me loads, with the exception of how the back of a van should look…. Keep up the fantastic work !!
@PlumbLikeTomАй бұрын
Thanks for the support as always mate, you should see the back of the van at the minute, it's what you would call a busy mess

10/10 Tom for getting the first job (in the loft space) done and a good job well done indeed. Lesser men would have walked away

Blimey Tom, that first job was a nightmare! The way you sorted it was very impressive. I have to say I was itching just seeing you in that loft! Useful tip re. Google lens - thanks.
@PlumbLikeTomАй бұрын
Thanks for the support as always Steve, it does get a bit itchy, at least it wasn't summer otherwise I would have melted
@mikdunneАй бұрын
Another interesting one Tom. It’s amazing how often ya can come across copper in concrete without any protection or lagging on it. We get lots over here that were done in the 2000’s. Seems to be going to multilayer now, pre insulated coils makes it handy. Keep up the good work.
@PlumbLikeTomАй бұрын
Thanks for the support as always mate, there does seem to be a lot of unprotected buried pipework, I seem to be getting quite a few jobs with it leaking, it could be it was all put in at a similar time, and the pipe has just given up
@bernhertsАй бұрын
I ďid similar for a neighbour years ago, incoming mains was barrel and leaking under the floor, but they'd had a new main from the street into their garage and I took polypipe from there to their utility room and capped off the old main in a concrete floor in their kitchen. Sweet, he's a builder but never realised that water could run both ways in the pipes
@PlumbLikeTomАй бұрын
It is sometimes best to to this, a lot less disruption than digging floors, thanks for the support as always mate

A nice vid Tom, as always. 10:53 Is that an old larder vent you've found hidden behind those units? I hope it's blocked off effectively or that is going to be costing them in heating bills.

I don't care who you are, what level plumbing or artist you think you are, those thoughts when you know the pipe is dead yet, your brain says it's live as you cut, cut, slowly, cut..........BANG! Dribble....hahah Oh and don't use Google Lens on your willy. The AI, for me, is upsetting.
