Sometimes you gotta realize Fishing is about beauty and peace, about connecting with creation in all its beauty! It’s about the sun and the wind and the sound of the waves! That’s what it’s really about!

That’s what we try to tell ourselves when the fish aren’t biting 😁

I watch your videos for the reality of tournament fishing. You show strengths, weaknesses, struggles, wins and even failures. I wonder how many people watch these videos and never once begin to think of the work that goes into tournament fishing. I can only imagine (but will soon find out) how hard it can be. I am sure many people think fishing is fun (and it is) but sometimes it is work. Imagine driving across the state, arriving late, grabbing a couples hours sleep on a belly full of gas station food only to get up long before the sun comes up and hitting the water no matter the weather. Nothing like sitting in a cold plastic boat on a cold drizzly morning with a north wind to really understand how hard it can be. I for one, find inspiration through your videos. Your resolve and determination inspires me. Keep it real like you do.

Spoken like the true warrior that you are, one must be wise in picking which battles to go all out in and which ones to rest and be ready for the big battle ahead! You are truly an inspiration to all! You go girl! 🙏

It takes a lot of courage to be honest with yourself & realize it’s time to step back and rest a minute. You gotta take care of you! That’s what’s really most important.

You dud great Kristine. I am proud that you did what you knew that you really needed to do. Some times the hardest thing to do is to give ourselves room to not be at the top of the list every time. You took smart steps this weekend. It wasn't about the fish. It was about you taking care of you.

Your going to figure out as you get some years under your belt that your health is the most important thing to focus on, always listen to your body! Hang in there and be safe!

We have all been there. It’s more important to listen to your body and mind to know when to slow down. This is a marathon not a sprint. And I for one would love to roll out at 9 and off the water by noon and STILL get a limit!😂😅

Largemouth will win a one day tournament. Try the cat tail islands just north of Linwood. Flip a big jig deep and just shake it. One will pick it up.

At this point in the career (ten years into it), one has to begin to operate now in ways, which buys you back some greater longeivity and staying power 'at the other end', as yo start to face into that second decade at a sport. Preventative maintenance is kind of key I think. We think it's nothing for example to see a Rick Clunn fish to the 'far end' of five decades in bass competition. However, even for the likes of Clunn I'd still say 'it got harder' in his second decade than in his first. And I've no clue as to what it means to go into three, four, five decades at something. One can only speculate, and most of us will never know. I can say about 'fishing', I don't know why, but stuff can happen there between forty age and fifty age in one's fishing, that is the best of it. I could go flat out in my twenties I recall, but all that twenties and thirties did in fishing was to lay down the foundation for what happens in my forties. I think for me, in my fifth decade I was done with the fad's and have enough focus on stuff that matters, to make it count.

By the way, looking at that environment I'm reminded of saltwater environments in Louisiana. Jon Miller on speckled trout angling.

Go pro is a bit hard of hearing in the wind. Cup one of your hands like a mega phone when you yell instructions to the gopro... that helps focus the sound wave. The PA14 handled those white caps like a champ.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this but you’ve got your navigation lights reversed. Red should be on the port side and green on the starboard.
