Brad, I want you to know the way you're been working to increase the production value of your videos is noticed & appreciated. The editing, drone footage, animated emphasis, and your music are top-notch. You consistently tell a compelling story with your videos. It seems many of your newer followers might not realize you actually write, perform, and record the original music featured in your videos. Knowing that really does make what you do even more impressive. You are truly a KZbin Super-Creator. (KZbin really needs to properly recognize the special content creators like yourself).. Keep it up! It is appreciated!

@@noxtwilight_ If you go back and watch Brad's older videos you'll see he always did a great job with the story-telling, music, and editing. He really didn't need to improve. It is obvious he sees what he's doing as a craft for which he can continue to develop his skills. I really have to admire that about him.

I’m from Massachusetts, but have lived in Texas for more than 30 years. In 1976 I spent the summer in Vermont pastoring a church. Every Friday morning your videos transport me back to New England and happy memories. thanks!

BRAD! You began my metal detecting rabbit hole last year and inspired me to buy a cheap little metal detector (under $100) and finally brought it out into the woods of my backyard yesterday and found a gold ring with a MASSIVE center diamond and two smaller ones on the side! I’m bringing it in to get appraised but wanted to thank you in advance for helping me pay off some student loans! 😅😂

You have the best videos on metal detecting! I love how you transpose (?) a better version over the one you found so the rest of us can see it. And I love the stories you feel about how the find got lost, and your knowledge of what you found, like that iron knife! I live in NM and want to metal detect, but everyone tells me no one had any money back then so all I'll find is beer tabs. Plus no one wants anyone walking around on their land. oh well, maybe someday! Keep up the good work and have fun! Hope you find a whole pile of gold one day!

The other possibility with the reale, is that it was holed to have twine put through (along with other small silver coins) so that it didn't get lost. Once there were several coins on the twine, it was either tied around the neck or wrist , for traveling. I believe that definitely happened in England...not sure about the US, but it would make sense to carry the tradition forward.

A nice little hunt for sure. Just a thought; you might want to rethink wetting down and rubbing those old coppers. From my experience, and a few others out there, it seems the best way to keep them in decent shape is to let the coin(s) dry out and then take a wooden toothpick to gently clean them up. Seems wetting them and then rubbing takes off the patina and some/any details left on the coin.
