Do it! I've been in the same situation, went skiing with some early 20's guys and coworkers, never regretted it. Just make sure you're decently worked out to keep up lol, or start the training on snow Edit: I'm above 30 now, you don't decline much if you've been skiing all your life, just remember to trust/test your skis before doing drops or sketchy conditions or telemark etc! ;)

I loved this video series. That line in Austria was one of the most badass things I've seen and I've been watching ski movies since the 90's. Honestly for me the coolest part was seeing you and your boys riding together in your own country. That feeling of connection with home and exploring in your own lands is so special. It got me psyched and right after I watched this I went out exploring and rediscovered some boulder problems on the mountain right behind my house here in Arizona. Thanks for the stoke!

"I don't understand it completely because you enjoy making turns, but you don't make so many." This is my existential crisis every time I go down the slope with my board. I can go fast, but then I like to make as many turns as I can. I think the solution is to find an even higher peak. That's got to be it.

@d darko Thorium reactors, my friend. The materials are more abundant, and cannot be weaponized. Also the reactors run much cooler and safer. From what I understand there is also no risk of a meltdown as there is with the kinds we use today.
@jackytaly4 жыл бұрын
d darko No that is nuclear fusion, we currently have very stable nuclear fission which is what you’d likely imagine when thinking of nuclear power. Those big nuclear plants you’ve seen are nuclear fission reactors, which is the splitting of the atom. The better and cleaner option is nuclear fusion, which is the fusing of the atoms. Nuclear fusion is yet to be stable and yield more power than inputted, and nuclear fission is perfectly stable and safe to use, aside from the waste products produced
@jackytaly4 жыл бұрын
d darko You are obviously not as well versed on this topic as you so thought, so no need to be a dick to others. Also, everything in op was correct

This is the coolest shit. I like to think that the furture of big mountain skiing lies nearly entirely on manpower. Just as jetskis enabled surfers to prove what the body is capable of doing in big waves, helis got us to the highest peaks on skis, but now, as the big waves are being paddled into, we climb our mountains before sending them.
