This is the first deck video you've put out that I happened to have all the cards for, so I put it together This is the most fun I've had in a hot minute. I'm in rank 8 rn and I just keep losing with a couple wins here and there, while this deck is on a three winstreak for me. A good use for the Kraken I got from a premium ultimate keg from one of the holiday pinecone packs 😌

Man I remember playing in Open Beta and loving Skellige but ever since I got back into the game about a year ago, I swear it's the most boring faction to me. The flavour still stands but man. However this version of a super-beast centric deck looks interesting. Looks great Plat!

I recently tried out a similar deck by Puzzle Express I think for the masters qualifiers, that version really went all in on the flaminica and tech cards like maxii, champ charge and scepter of storms but I wished it had Kraken in it - I think your list looks a lot more fun fitting in ulfheddin too! Feels like wholesome SK without the crazy removal of warriors or the crazy greed of druids

Thanks! Kraken is my favorite designed card in the game, and I always love a chance to use him. Ulfedin actually felt pretty good after I tried him out too. I had a lot more fun playing this than I expected and wholesome is a how I felt about it too.

@@platinumpatrol2964yeah been trying out your list now and I gotta say Ulfheddin is way better than I expected, such a good counter to simlas triple boosting like you showed - also I don’t know if you noticed but you seemed to be worried about the anglerfish getting shuffled back quite often, they always get shuffled back to the bottom so they can actually make for some great carryover if you time the pass with rain running out, people also seem to overcommit sometimes bc they don’t realise they’ll hop back

Ulfadin really surprised me too. When I first saw the rework I thought it looked good but never got around to trying it out. Really glad I did. And I know about the Anglerfish. The thing is there's not much rain to get them out a second time and I want them in the Graveyard to make Corrupted Flaminnica bigger.@@tomrowell1558

@@platinumpatrol2964true it can be risky as well if the opponent calculates properly and you’re suddenly 6 points down, I’ve only been able to get it to work on a tempo pass when I draw both havfrues round 1

Cool deck Platinum. I might try it myself. Another card worth considering is Feral Bond. It could set up bloodthirst, and you should be able to kill the wolf token with all your rain. And I feel it would have a higher ceiling over the 5p bear.

Bond isn't bad. I was really hoping to get a 27 point Sove with the Raging Bear though.

Heya, nice SK Deck, remember me? i was the one with Devotion Rain Discard Deck....Ive tried your Changes and it worked well, but for me personaly and i mean you offense here, it didnt gave me the Sk feeling/flavour if that makes sence and was abit to much mixture, some i create i new Devotion Deck . Before i show the List, i want you tell that, when i build my Decks ive you usually want around 18/ 19 creatures and some Spells i think its a good Balance, and iam more of an Control/Midrange Player in general. So here is the List: 1x Patricidal Fury 1x Enchanted Armor ( mostly for Bjorn or Skordal) 1x Harald an Craite 1x Wildboar of the Sea 1x Dracoturtle (my favourite Card to be honest and iam looking for Cards which get not much played or no one plays) 1x Delirium (Good Card in general and gives me more targets for Harald Later on) 1x Birna Bran 1x Coral 1x Bjorn Stormursson (speaking of him, this card reminds me, of Pyrotechnican from SC but with an bigger body and upside, but mostly i use him too kill off some small creatures) 1x Vabjorn 1x Raiding Fleet (works pretty well with Vabjorn for a nice Double thin) 1x Morkvarg 1x Herkja Drummond 1x Gigascropion Decoction 1x An Craite Greatsword 1x Stunning Blow 1x Feral Bond (like Delirium i think its a good card and also can give targets for Harald) 2x Tuisearch Skirmisher 2x An Craite Longship (for Raiding Fleet) 1x Gutting Slash 2x Svalblod Butcher (Interessting Card which i dont see lots of play in an SK Decks, but it works pretty well with Drummond Berserker and Dracoturtle, good target for Harald) 2x Drummond Berserker For me Personaly it has everything what SK does: Discard, Ships, Beast, Warriors, Cultists, Pirates, Raids, Alchemy and abit of sellf wound. The peferct SK feeling /flavour and i hope its a bit different than most Devotion Decks. Its not fully Completed yet, because i need to craft some cards, iam F2P and spend no money on it, currently iam playing SC Precision Strike Control, but with no Simlas, Wayley, Dragons, Bombs or Constructs Boring Stuff, but with Allgod, Basilisk Venom and Forest Whisperer :) . Iam at Rank 12 right now with my SC Deck was rank 14 last season. Keep Up the Good work and looking forward for your imput/ Thoughts.

I'm hoping you meant no offense and mistyped it lol At the end of the day the whole point of playing games is to have fun. If what you enjoy are your decks the way they are then keep playing them. For someone like me who has all of the cards I like making decks focusing on the different aspects of a faction (an Alchemy deck, a Beast deck, a Warrior deck, a Pirate deck, etc.). As far as your deck this time if you really want to maximize the Dracoturtle an addition of Knut the Callous, 2X Armored Drakkar, and 2X Mardroeme might be worth considering. At least the Knut the Callous and Drakkar's would synergize well with the Butchers and Dracoturtle. The Mardoemes do too but if you can't fit them maybe you can leave them out. While Herjka isn't great most of the time you do have a decent number of Warriors that do damage. It might be worth adding Ulula, swapping the Butchers for Brokvar Warriors, and maybe even going for Hemdall over Wild Boar of the Sea. One last thing is I'd highly recommend having a payoff card for the Patricidal Fury setting up so much Bloodthirst. Greatsword and Wild Boar are okay, but a card like Champion's Charge (probably a good addition anyway) or even Madman Lugos would be nice.

@@platinumpatrol2964 Yes ive Mistyped sorry, and thank you for answering my comment again, iam playing for fun Testing cards in and Out. By your Card choices iam getting some new ideas for SK devotion and will gather some thoughts, hopefully iam done crafting my SK in couple of days, so i can Play it next season. Keep up your good Work.

It's pretty janky but here you go: www.playgwent.com/en/decks/da6f48016c52b163dc54c478e8df4115 It's a lot less based on beasts than this one since it uses Troll Porter which tends to not leave enough Beasts in the Graveyard for Corrupted Flaminica. The idea is to Troll Porter a bunch of the bronzes to enable Compass. Sove/Shupe/Radeyah give you Round control and flexibility in where you want to play them from their tempo. You can then use Compass to make something to kill the Kraken R3 (Fucusya into Brokvar Archer or Warrior normally works if they don't boost it) or go for value. Making Ulfedin off of Compass so often is what inspired me to try him out in a deck. Originally, I made an Onslaught Shupe deck with Kraken + Triss Meteor Shower R3 combo. Just using Sove instead of Triss turned out to be better since it didn't have enough tempo to reliably hold onto the Triss and Kraken for R3. Probably would've been better without Shupe but he's fun lol.
