I think it's reasonable to expect an increase in interest. It does depend on how its implemented within Witcher 4 though.

Gwent is quite generous for FTP, although I do wonder if that contributed to end of support by not making enough money. TESL was fun but it took a lot of effort to unlock everything especially with 3 copies for a lot of legendries. It was a nice gesture from the devs to make everything in the game free (1 gold, basically free) once they announced it was shutting down a couple months ago at least so people could try everything out.

@@platinumpatrol2964 TESL was less generous, and it didn't even get the Balance Council in. I think the political shift in 2022 contributed way more to Gwent's end of development -- it's a Witcher game and many players hail from Eastern Europe after all.

I personally have faith that CDPR is going to stand by their word when they said they'll be keeping the servers up forever

It was a lot of fun. I actually only got into Gwent because they announced the end of support for Elder Scrolls Legends at the same time as Gwent: Homecoming and I decided to try that out.

It's always amusing to me how many dislikes every NG video I do gets. I do like playing all of them though.

@platinumpatrol2964 NG players don't get GGs from me, as a matter of principle. I understand you have to make diverse content though.

Me too. I'm not a big NG player, but I do like Soldiers. They have good engine value and the fact that their artifacts have Resilience is great. The Slave/Driver Nauzica factionwide prevalence reminds me a lot of when they buffed Fallen Knight to "help Firesworn" and every SY deck became some variant of Fallen Knight crimes. They just have synergy with pretty much every NG archetype and even the ones they don't the value is so consistently good they still get played (I use them in NG Constructs for example).

Tactical Advantage is close enough to Crystal Skull for the most part, I think getting the cards to make decks is more important than strategems at first. Especially since you only get them in 50% of games. Passing with Von Herst and some Fallen Knights out is great though.

Yeah Procession is mostly fine. I wanted to use Roderick but too much Offering use at the moment. He could really use a 1 power buff like the other similar cards have been getting. The Helveed combo is really fun, I had a Lonely Champion but decided I liked the Smuggle better.

The simplest change is to swap Germain for Aguara or Cypren Wiley for control, or Keldar as another way to make tokens for Meve as Germain is overall the weakest card in the deck. Another good option is to cut Germain and upgrade one of the Secret Services to Knickers and add Trollolo as it also combos quite well with the Priestess, or even just a decent card like Egmund as you can play stuff next to him to boost it prior to playing Coen.

It provides a lot of controllable tempo and the development of 2 cards your opponent wants to deal with on the same turn when you use the last leader which is quite strong. It's often used for that with Temple for a finisher so it has that use even outside of Siege. As for the downsides I think you're looking at it wrong. Iron Judgement doesn't make you run other Radovid and Devotion, you're running other Radovid and Devotion (usually) anyway so why not include Iron Judgment? In that case he's probably the best 10p card you can add to your deck.

@platinumpatrol2964 would it be possible for you to showcase devotion NR deck with temple and other Radovid to ilustrate it? I would love to see it but in my mind Radovid Judgment is usually only devotion card I would run in a deck anyway

Yeah he showed up too much for my liking and I think there are some other cards that might be better. The tempo is nicer than the thinning a lot of the time with him in my experience.

Secret Service is still much better even at 7, but no one ever plays Coodcoodak and I thought he might have a chance to shine at the moment

Firesworn is a good introduction to Syndicate. The Scribe spawing is great when it goes off and is quite satisfying!

I've thought about it before but I think they're too awkward to use. There are very few nature cards so the only value is the order and they're pretty easy to remove.

@@platinumpatrol2964 You'd probably need Petri's Philter to make sure the Naiads go off. But of course that messes with the Nekker combo
