Great video, think I saw some dawn tetras at 5:04 never seen them in a shop before, very cool! Nice man, as a kid I used to spend hours looking through the aquariums trying to spot something new, never gets old even if I do haha!

Hey mate! I absolutely love having a nose through this little section of the shop. There's always something interesting in there. There are usually some cool tetras, rasboras, and livebearers. There were 2 types of Amica Splendins in the video. All the money I got as a teenager, I'd be in here spending on fish and accessories. I worked at the pet shop over the road and would run in after work with £20 to spend. I'd love to go back to those days. I wish I'd learned that breeding and shop credit were a thing back then.

@@aquaticfanaticsuk haha yea i know the feeling, I used to skip school dinners, save the money and go fish shopping on the weekends! Its great you have an awesome addiction to the hobby 2, used to be sooo popular back in the early 80's but seemed to lose a bit of traction after the 90's, pretty much every house I went to as a kid had an aquarium, now we don't run into fish keepers in the real world sadly!!!!
@aquaticfanaticsuk2 ай бұрын
@Aquadiction wow, it's funny you should say that because I remember as a child everyone seemed to have a clearseal style aquarium with a metal lid and some pea gravel and neon tetras. I only know one person now who keeps fish.

My go to shop also been going since and still buy most of my aquarium stuff from there Starting to be a little left behind by some of the newer shops but this place has so much potential

I absolutely love the shop. Talking with Andy the past couple of months, he has some plans that he wants to put into action but is a little tentative with which direction he wants to go first.
