When I realize the inhumanity of it all and how much like P. T. Barnum Scrapman is being right now; showing us a freakshow of freaks; I remember how broken tapebots are and how tanky farmbots are and the schadenfreude sinks in. But enough with the cynical cynicism, I think the tapebots are bound by the same rules as the farmbots as in they're bound to a specific area of specific tiles and are not allowed to exist beyond those areas without dev command overrides. So I think taking the farmbots out of their forest or tapebots away from a warehouse will result in the game removing them to prevent any kind of wide spread chaos. Tote and haybots are fine because they're free roaming and can be found anywhere. But as far as suggestions go, I want to see if you can't make a rocket propelled (jet propelled) sledge to either obliterate or yeet bots in your base defense. Like have it be a block of concrete on wheels, just a massive heifer, and have it in a slotted area to contain it and then have it so when you press a button on it, the thrusters turn on and it rockets across and slams into a wall. You could make the wall open and have the just the edges to catch the sledge and see if you yeet haybots and totebots into 2030. Or you can see if you make a viable jet propelled compactor. Fuel isn't a problem anymore and it'd be funny to see if you get it to work to see you make rocket fists of concrete and then have them fist bump a haybot into bits.

maybe it changed but when I played when I ragdoll a bot and I put the bot on my car and I drove away if I got far from where the bot first ragdoll it would teleport back there. but when the bot was not ragdoll it would stay and not disappear. they might have changed that but I don't know.

Day:72 Try to make a all terrain vehicle or a vehicle that can survive in it's own in survival or creative mode. You could make a bedroom with a wardrobe where the dressbot goes in, a kitchen for the cookbot with a dining area.

@@pepper5112 Yes that mobile base idea is really cool BUT 1. Imagine amount of resourses and grind it needs (there sholud be at least 1 lvl 5 craftbot and that is more than 40 component kits) 2. Whithout mods there is no good wheels for that (it should go everywhere but only craftbot weights a lot) 3. (Is most obvious) It wil be laggy

Thermal vision detects the temperature of the glass, not what’s through it so no, thermal vision wouldn’t be able to see something through glass.

5:40 Dont wanna be super annoying but thermal vision does work through glass because it take the infrared light and sees that as heat and light can go through glass, so my theory is that they have a sensor built to detect sound and build a picture out of that like bats and i have proof because when you go behind practically any bot you sneak up on behind, it can see you sounds and knows you are there, so my second theory is that every bot has ultra sonic sensors? i forgot the name

also dont wanna be that guy but thermal vision does not work through glass because it is insulated by the air around it so the heat doesnt transfer to the glass very well, but if you were touching the glass, the heat would be transferred to the glass, allowing the thermal camera to "see" you. (yes i know its an old comment)

If you rag-doll anything and it gets moved too far from where it gets knocked over, it fades a set distance as it respawns and stands up. At least, that's the way it always looked to me. I'm glad you were able to clarify this for us! This was informative!!

SUGGESTION: The people who created scrap mechanic should make it so if you at wearing a watch with one of the gloves, it should show the time on the top left. Also on tear down you can make a speed boat out of planks and if you stand on it and pick it up it makes you go really fast on the water

My observation: the tape bots when knocked out were glitching into the base of the cage and glitched through the ground so if you try again maybe take the roads instead of going off road ? That should prevent them from becoming Houdini and phasing through the floor

1. The tape bot will shoot "you"... so, if you are in a vehicle, he'll shoot the vehicle you're in. So, if he's on a cage/box welded to the vehicle, he'll shoot the cage itself... hehehe 2. They disapear once you take him away from the spawn point... 3. They can brake glass, even armored. It takes some time, but they'll do it... hehehe

I think the bot is not dying because of the distance from his spawn point. I think he's falling through the crack in the door. It opens slighltly when going through hills. If you seal it after their are captured, it might work.

The bots are dissapearing not because of a proximity thing, its because if NPC got capture PHISICALY (non game feature capture method) and your camera is not on the NPC, the NPC will despawn

It's entire head is a tape dispenser very much like the ones used for pilfer proof packaging tape, hence the serrated teeth to tear it off with. I would just assume tape bot has different kinds of tape for diff uses.

Axolot needs to make more, and new varieties of bots; as well as more interactive components. A bot that's on the ocean floor. One on water's surface. Something aerial: A new PoI (Point of Interest) that requires you to fly to it, patrolled by flying robots. Perhaps a new form of world boss, that requires an armored assault vehicle to fight (spud guns, t3 metal, possibly new mountable weapons). A mountable flamethrower would be nice.

Maybe the tape bots use a ultra sonic senor and if they do that would explain why they can not see through glass but if they use thermal vision then they would be able to see you even if there is a wall in the way.

Also, tip for warehouse raiding. Dr. Pixel Plays proved that the burgers AND sun shakes regenerate health, the burgers regenerate it to 100% instantly and the sun shake is instant but only by 10 points.

Suggestion for a future video: make a sensor that detects a plate of wood of a certain color to automatically lower the drawbridge at your base. That way, it only opens for 30 seconds when you drive under it, then goes back up.

Try and automate a lot of things. Like a robot the kill robots that are near you, but you can deactivate them, or like a ring around thanks house so that the robots will not kill him, and try to go backwards and turn to get out.

You discovered that bots respawn at their last location where they were standing up if they have been unconscious for certain amount of time like 20+ episodes back, when you captured the green... bot and Hank for the first time, then later with the boss too... You just need to do it slower and let the bot stand up every so often.

The reason he shoots at you in the vehicle is because the cage is part of the vehicle. He sees the vehicle at all times because of it.

He starts shooting you when you're in the seat because otherwise you could just build a cab around the seat and then they couldn't shoot see you Also the devs said that you won't have to start a new world when chapter 2 comes out, they said the new things will replace some of the not very usefull tiles for example some forests maybe some warehouses and fields

I think he shoots you when you drive since the cage he's in is part of your car. So its like he's standing in front of you with you in a car, he'll shoot though the wall to get to you. Or the back of the car in this case

The tape bots wont shoot at your creation unless your in it.. though they couldnt see you from the cage, they could see the creation when you got in the drivers seat, making it a valid target. Rather then using a bearing you could use a pintle hitch to negate that mechanic...
