Thankyou Nick , I grew up on a cotton farm outside San Angelo, Texas. No tents and druggies on the streets of Odessa. No fear for the police the locals will move your tent for you I am sure, of it. Real Texans are good people they just want to be left alone. Thankyou for a the nice videos you always give us. I live in Southeastern Washington State for 32 years. Great place , rural type agriculture but it has grown almost too big with Pasco, Kennewick, Richland (tri cities) over 325K now. Was 145,000 when I moved here.

Just living in Odessa is enough to make you turn bad. Freezing cold in the winter, buring hot i the summer. The wind blows 15-20 every day and its as flat as the lunar surface. Right next to Odessa is Midland, which has zero character, and is perpetually covered with dirt. I'm not kidding about the dirt. I pulled into a major gas station in Midland, and wondered why such a large establishment wasn't paved. Turned out, it WAS paved. The pavement was just buried under two inches of loose dirt. Back in the 1970's I flew into the Midland/Odessa Airport. What was notable being from upstate New York, how flat. I could see the curvature of the earth, the electric power poles disappearing over the horizon. I was certainly impressed a local dealership had a Rolls Royce on display. There was a flurry of single engine aircraft taking off for about an hour. It was quitting time, around 4p. These were the commuters. Hey, a virtual , unobstructed emergency airfield out there.

My home town. It wasnt bad in the 60s and 70s . There wasnt much to do there. Walking around the neighborhood and the skating rink was what kept us busy growing up

Thanks to inflation anything less than $10 doesn't really buy much anymore! A $10 bill is the new $1 bill. I would've given him a $20 for taking the time to talk in a respectful manner.

Had to re-watch that two or three times to figure out what that was all about. At first I thought it was a pack of some kind of illegal substance... I believe the feller started to open up and felt bad when he realized he wasn't being tricked into something weird, that the conversation was legit.

I grew up in this area in 70 to mid 80s. In sept of 85,the America started buying oil from opec,it killed texas for awhile! I went back to odessa and worked for Eagle rock drilling with a friend i know. It just wasnt the same then ,like it was when growing up. But the food for Mexican food is real there still. This is where i got my favorite for real mexican foods. According to this video,odessa is coming back from what i last seen when there. Kermit,34 miles west from there is where i grew up in a christian school mostly and some public school as well. Some of my best teachers i remember was there. Somehow,all the oil smells of texas as a child make me think of it. But since ive moved to Alabama in 1985 when oilfields shut down . Its the fresh smell of pine trees,lakes to fish that have captured my heart. In mind,i will wonder about Texas too. Now,you could not get me back in texas and out of Alabama. Since computers came ,things have changed alot. Looking for that get rich idea on computers has become the new life. The real life is getting out there in this world and finding where your hearts will be. Opportunities is out in this world,you have to decide when its time to go find yours.

I just want to say a big thank you for these videos. They must take a lot of work, and I love how they are long videos of your adventures and they really are informative and eye opening, as well as interesting (and your sense of humor always makes me laugh). They are healing because they are voices of something that needs attention. They are thought provoking videos and gives perspective and attention to things that need work. I like how you give voices to so many people from different walks of life. As well as your own thoughts. It's meaningful. Keep it up cowboy! (Being serious!) :) Also, the videos of you just exploring nicer places too, it's a real treat. Like checking out random bars, places to eat, or areas, it gives a nice big picture of the country high and low, big and small. All your videos are top tier and you are a natural and making great videos. Thank you :)

Hey dude. No Lubbock Video? Lubbock is the place in West Texas to see. It is a secret unknown little gem. Out of all the cities in West Texas, Lubbock is the best of them. We left Ventura Dec 2021 because I was kicked out of University Of California for not taking the shot. So we moved to Lubbock because of Texas Tech. I like Lubbock. The people here are really good people. Wholesome is the best way to describe it. I know I heard stories about Lubbock being a bad place from the locals. They tell me that Avenue Q is the ghetto. But ain't nothing compared to The Nard or even Bernardino. In fact, Lubbock is still one of the places people leave their doors unlocked and are extremely neighborly. This place reminds me of how California used to be.... you know, when we where proud to be American. Housing out here in Lubbock is going off. Specially in the south and in Wolfforth. It definitely is different here surrounded by cotton fields. The weather is absolutely dynamic, changes from day to day it seems. But when you are in town, you don't really notice you are in the middle of nowhere. There is like no traffic. Everything is cheap. And the people are pleasant of have manners. They show respect. They even have a mall that is filled with people and is thriving. LOTS OF MUSIC HERE! There seems to be a lot of wealthy people here that have big houses. I'm not sure where they come from. I think maybe this is a getaway for Dallas people? The only other place I have seen Lambos driving around is in Malibu. Was surprised to see exotic autos on the road here. Maybe you know. I do love it here. I honestly feel sad I am leaving. I wouldn't even mind at my age settling down here into obscurity.... However, we are headed to Florida because Florida's Universities don't have CRT/DEI anymore. Yup, l ready did the California thing and I see exactly where this leads. And Texas Tech pushes DEI down the students' throats. So we are packing up and leaving. We generate all of our income from outside of Lubbock and have 3 small business online. They all do well. We bring money into the community in which we live. We don't get paid by anybody in Lubbock. This means we are adding to the value of the community. We rent a nice home. We shop at the HEB. We eat out. We spend money in the community that we bring in from the outside. However, you go Woke like Texas Tech, and people like me, a very Individually Minded Person simply leave. Shrugging is the term I believe. Lubbock in my rear-view mirror. Good-Bye West Texas. We could have been sooooo much much more.

Hello Mr Johnson, I just want to say that I really like watching your channel because you go around showing different states and cities and me and my family enjoy your videos, but the only thing I have a problem with, is when you curse or say bad words, I don’t feel comfortable watching your videos because of it, especially since my 7, 8 and nine-year-old are watching these videos with me. Can you maybe cut down on the bad words please. Thank you 🙏 And please understand I do not mean to be in anyway disrespectful. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a blessed day.

What makes Odessa dangerous is the many many people that don't know how to drive here.
@thomas57146 ай бұрын
@11:56 - George is 93, it has spawned three times; a 34-yo spawn named Alex who's the front spawn designee to further the agenda, a 53-yo spawn named Jonathan that manages The Soros Fund and it is just as dangerous, as is the 60-yo-spawn that also manages the Fund to destroy civilization. They more than likely have spawn of their own. Alex just hooked up with Killary's assistant, Huma, who's now a hag - but that doesn't mean Al won't spawn or has already spawned. So you're gonna need a posse.

If you're still out there just go a bit north to Loving County. At only about 64 residents, the least populated county in the USA. Water is naturally poisoned with gypsum. A lot of water is cleaned and used for fracking. About the only industry out there.
