What a lovely chap who " GETS " the hobby, yes in my 50 + years of collecting I have also been in some undesireable establishments and for me what that does is makes it all the more enjoyable when one stumbles across a shop like your LCS and what a nice respectful lady that was behind the counter as well, a lovely video thanks for sharing it.

I grabbed that same Supergirl cover a couple of years ago in a dollar bin. Great book. That looks like an awesome LCS. I remember the one shop that I went to as a kid, and it was just as you described. Dark, dank, foreboding, and unwelcoming. Ao glad that the stores have become much friendlier and brighter. Fun stuff,Secret crisis had son cool books on the wall. Love that Mysterys in Space book they had. Yes indeed I have a pull list myself. I get worlds finest and action and Superman. Good stuff.thanks for sharing

My comic shop, too! Worlds collide! And the owner, Todd, is a great supporter of community non-profits: the local professional theatre, the local Chamber events (including the town’s Sculpture Walk), the local Humane Society, and several other causes. He’s a great independent business owner. And his staff are equally great at welcoming guests Secret Crisis Comics in Chelsea is a great LCS!
