I'm glad they don't shoot off fireworks when the horses are there. but what about the other animals? don't they freak out?

I didn't know horses where so effected by fireworks. I'm sure they must be in a barn or pen of some sort. I didn't know they go absolutely wild when hearing them. I'm right across from the Bronx Zoo (on the 4th floor, directly across the street and never see anything from the street or from up here in the apartment) and I wonder how they manage. One thing about the zoo, on a snowy day, they are exceptional about clearing their sidewalks and getting in there to make sure they're fed. I think as I've gotten older, I'm more against zoos, though a wildlife safari that is more like their habitat would be okay in my opinion. They gave a statement, the zookeepers did, that humans have an overly sentimental view of the wild and they are working to save endangered animals.

@@richardhales92 i'm against zoos that cage their animals. animals need lots of room to roam around. i'm also against the circus that uses animals to entertain us humans.
