I'm afraid I've never tried crawfish. If you ever have them, can you film how you eat them. Google says they're a cross between lobsters and shrimp. I don't know how to, or what to, eat in a lobster. I'm from near the Chesapeake Bay, so I know how to get the meat out of blue claw crabs. It's kind of strange and hard work. But they're delicious! Red Lobster employees tell me how to eat crab legs, lol, if there's any more Red Lobster's left. Atlantic City Bar & Grill had good crab legs as well.

Crawfish are easy, bite the heads off and suck out the insides! If you're served just crawfish tails, they were probably frozen and out of season (they're in season November - July). Authentic restaurants don't serve them in plates but rather spread out newspapers and just dump them on the table. (I don't think Red Lobster serves them that way LOL!)

They're gonna laugh me off this page, but, Richard, did you ever have Popeye's Dirty Rice? I don't like anything spicy, but their dirty rice was a little spicy and I did like it. I really shy away from anything near spicy, but if it has a little, then sometimes I like it. I asked for this item in a restaurant in New York, they had a 'blackened pork chops' and I asked if they could make it not spicy but 'blackened' and they did a terrific job, whatever they did. It wasn't spicy at all, but it did have some black coating on it, and it was great. I wish I could have taken you. Their piano player, no kidding, was 102 years old! I went for the mashed potatoes, too, because you got 2 sides and I got a double helping of mashed potatoes. They closed down awhile back. I just recently found out a serial killer was a big drinker at the bar; luckily I didn't talk to him, lol. I like to sit at a table and eat instead of eating at the bar, luckily.

@@richardhales92 Richard, i don't go to restaurants unless i'm on vacation. i hate tipping. i cook my own food. i'm not a very good cook, but i'm still alive. lol. blackened pork chops sounds good. i'll google a few recipes.

@@richardsanty9063 I'm glad about that, lol. I've cut down since the pandemic, going to restaurants, because the prices have gone way up, way too fast. It's not unusual, when I go out, because I usually order 2 glasses of wine, for the dinner or lunch to cost over $50, and there's a lot more things I could do with $50. I hope you've been able to save a little of your $500 win last week. I played a scratch off and won $15.00 today.

Catfish is everywhere in NOLA. Just like crawfish. Have you tried it? Its a mild, buttery fish that is awesome no matter how its prepared.

@@JerseyJeffEats I don't eat fish; my Dad fished all the time, so we had lots of fish (never catfish, I don't think), so I got sick of it and swore off it. What were the other choices for main entrees, do you remember? I wouldn't mind fried chicken or pork chops.

Well maybe not, but for a nice afternoon I'd spend a little more money and get the buffet. I'm interested in how long the steamboat ride was, but I guess we'll get that later. Was the boat traveling while you were eating?

Sorry, but Bagelmania hasn’t been good since it was in a sketchy neighborhood on Twain.. This is Siegel’s “Corporate-ifying” a once amazing place. Bagel Cafe on Buffalo and Summerlin Parkway, way west of the strip is the best in town.

Cool vlog! I was just in Seaside Heights a few weeks ago to check out the new Carousel. I actually rode it. lol Maruca's is a good pizza but I have been to that 3 Brother's numerous times now and I agree with you. Fried Oreos to me is ok but nothing to crave for. lol Are you going to the Greek Festival this weekend? I will probably be there for one of the days after work.

Ive lived 40 minutes from Atlantic City all my life my dad took me to Harrah's when i was a kid they had a huge arcade.the city was a dump then and its still a dump now. Avoid the boardwalk at all costs. Go to borgata if you have to go. Stay safe dont be a victim

Im a huge Blondie fan. Chris Stein one of the founding members is a very accomplished photographer. Nyc the streets,clubs and rock stars 70s -80s. It just opened in NYC. He also has published a few photo books. Definitely worth a trip.

I used to sell at a lot of festivals and flea markets. It got to the point if I didn't take debit/credit card and wouldnt been able to do them. Nobody carries cash anymore. I got a one of those mobile card takers that worked on your phone. Nice video glad you got great weather.

In my previous JJE video (Stewart's Anniversary), I was surprised when I was told 'cash only'. This is an established, brick and mortar business. You never know, I always walk around with a few bucks in my pocket just in case! Thanks Joel.

For all that cities have to offer, fairs, at least here in New York City, seem to have the same vendors. So if you go to one or two, feels like you've seen them all. We have a pickle festival in New York. I've never been. Back home in Baltimore, we had the Baltimore City fair and I remember how great it was to have a ferris wheel and tilt-a-whirl and other rides right down the center of the city. Gangs seemed to call it their own and there were shootings every year, so it had to be stopped. I wish they would try having one down the center of New York's Broadway.

Appreciate the look at this buffet. I saw nothing there that warrants a $40 price tag. Comparably priced buffets in Vegas offer a LOT more variety and quality.
