The creator actually made a cohesive story throughout the entire thing. Unlike ika where We have spacemen and seemingly random set pieces

Well, imo Aika's story is way more interesting since so many things seem randomly done but everything has its reason and the story is more open as someone has already mentioned here. The new Aika village is just a sequel to the first one being held in the past which I like the concept of it. I don't really like horror stories with aliens and such but that's only a personal preference!

Aika's village on New Leaf was amazing, incredibly creepy, full of details and with an actual story, I think that the creator just didn't care anymore that's why it wasn't that much in new horizons. You could see random patterns and items everywhere, it was kinda funny so they were totally just messing around not caring about the island. The cannibal town also was amazing in New leaf, this one doesn't beat the original but i want to believe that it just isn't complete yet

I know there’s already a story but this is all that makes sense to me. These houses are designed like torture rooms for the most part. As if it were more of a cult than a religion. They marry, the (assumed) man kills the wife, and gets rid of their remains in different ways. Maybe before that they have children -who he would also end up killing? If anyone could tell me the lore or what this is based off of that would be very much appreciated! EDIT: I didn’t exactly explain the cult part correctly. Some men have as many children with a woman as possible (in a lot of cases it’s their sister or sister-in-law). They then end up teaching their wife and children they are a god amongst men. Anything outside is seen as dangerous. The children and wife realized how wrong all of this is, and he kills them. Going insane; he eats them. Now he’s loose, killing and eating other woman (as seen in that one room) Again, I can’t find the old video and I don’t know the lore, but I really would appreciate any knowledge!
