I took a bath in the Elephant Restroom 🐘

I visited Elephants in Pattaya
These are HAPPY ELEPHANTS at the Jungle Sanctuary in Pattaya Thailand! I always wanted to get close to the big guys, but I never wanted to support forced labour or people to let animals work for entertainment. So i did some research and found the elephant jungle sanctuary in Pattaya Thailand. They take care of old elephants who worked for many years. Or elephants that have owners who can't effort the feeding and medical treatments. It's a beautiful place near the Pattaya beach road. The company will pick you up at your hotel at about 6.30 am. Then they drive you some 40 minutes to the sanctuary. Then you will learn a lot about an elephant's behaviour before you are welcome to feed them (bananas). After the banana breakfast the guest will follow the elephants to the „mud spa“ where you can rub them with mud. That helps them to protect against mosquitos. After that the big animals visit the „pool“ where you can clean them with some brushes. The elephants are sweet and gentle. Every visitor couldn't stop smiling. a beautiful day, a trip worth every cent (56-75 Euro). oh and there's thai food too. I couldn't ask for more.
