that sounds like a very unfortunate winter outage. I hope it all gets repaired and that you have some sort of backup system. last winter my entire town lost natural gas, but thankfully I use a wood stove as my primary heat and I was able to rig up a workable shower by heating water on the stove and rigging up a portable camp shower in the tub. hopefully you have something as a fall back.

We were constantly on the lookout too! Unfortunately my leg still wasn't ready for full days of roaming and we left early; that and we had a pilgrimage to do which was a constant chase of the sun. Next year is certainly a possibility, at least for me, looking forward to it!

Great video that I will recommend to friends. As a local, I see all kinds of groups come back year after year, and i am new to the fallout community. I discovered fallout vegas during the demmie, but I never get to play much because there are a dozen things going on every week from New restaurants, yearly events, festivals, sports, weddings, birthdays, etc. I don't get to play much because I pick up my phone and waze tells me goodsprings is 25 minutes from my living room, so I still have yet to complete my second playthru. My first obvi favored House. It's great to see people come out of their comfort zones every month to come out to these weekend events. I know there are waits and long lines, but I see this event expanding to a 3/4 day weekend like most conventions, and more locations around the valley participating in their own fallout vegas day like the Mormon fort did! Can't wait to see everyone again next year, and I'll work on a costume til then, one I didn't see represented all weekend!

It's a shame we'll never know what the game could have been like with another 6-12 months development. The 18 month development cycle Bethesda gave Obsidian meant they had to cut a lot of corners and even today the game still has some graphical and memory issues.

shout out to the person who said fallout 4 got them through hard times (im paraphrasing, this video fits A LOT in) I absolutely felt that. I was so deep in a hole i was off work for months and losing myself in 4 allowed me to climb out that hole and rebuild. This event looks amazing, but im realistic enough to know that it'll never be something i make so videos like this are awesome to see. I am in vegas next year for wrestlemania so hopefully theres some opportunities to find things to do relating to fallout so I can feel some small part of what everyone there felt!

Fallout 4 is not a bad game at all and doesn't deserve all the hate against it. Heck it's probably sold more copies than New Vegas even if New Vegas is superior to it as a Fallout game. As an rpg Fallout 4 is lacking and the main story is not good but even without mods the crafting and settlement mechanics can be a lot of fun and though the combat has been simplified in ways compared to New Vegas it also doesn't feel quite as clunky as New Vegas'. It's a bit like comparing TES Oblivion and Skyrim as each has their strengths and weaknesses. But yeah it's great that the Fallout community and Goodsprings come together for this event and hopefully it will continue to grow and develop.
