Strangely felt quite emotional in that last 5 minutes - something special about watching someone live their dream. Ellis is just a genuine, hard-working, good person that chased his passion - brilliant to see it pay off and produce great videos like this. The videos have helped me through tough times in my own life, so it's great to feel part of an incredible journey. I used to travel home & away following my club with my best friend, who sadly passed away last year aged just 26 - this channel has been a shining light & a reminder of the good times we had together. Keep up the excellent work.

@@awaydaysfootball Thanks a lot mate - one thing I’d love to see you continue to do is: encourage young men to talk about their mental health. You have a huge platform & speak well - football is a safe space for many. I planned on going to the match with my friend a couple of days before he took his own life - if only he’d spoken to someone. Unfortunately, there’s still a stigma & lack of funding for men’s mental health, I think channels like yours have a lot of power & give people comfort.

Up the tics' - Football does amazing things that majority of outsiders do not realise. Behind the glitz and glamour there is a real bond, and a family that breaks down barriers of language and war. Don't follow the sport myself anymore, but can appreciate the underlying community behind it, and the exact reason why I watch this channel.

There's a Dutch club called RBC, fka RBC Roosendaal which went bankrupt in 2011, before that they played mostly in the Dutch 2nd division, but also a few seasons in the Eredivisie. They returned as an amateur club in the ninth division of the country, and now made their way up to the fitfh division. I think this would be an interesting one for you to cover on this channel!

I don't think I've ever commented on one of your videos before but I always try to watch the matchday ones and just wanted to say that this one in Norway was something else, fantastic job ! As a 62 year old groundhopper who tries to enjoy every minute of every football club visit, I probably shouldn't but I do love the fun and mischief you and your twenty-something chums get up to, whilst (usually!) maintaining a decent level of respect for your hosts. I was so lucky to be able to see games home and away for 3 years in the top flight. We even made the cup final in 2001. I moved to Tromsø in the North around 2003 but Bryne is still my team. I try to travel down at least once a year to see a game. I was down there the week before you Ellis for the game against Vålerenga. So cool that you had the same amazing experience that I had.
