I visited the pop up Lego flower shop in Utrecht

Last week I had a lot of fun sketching some of the Lego brick flower arrangements at the pop up store called The Botanical located in the Dutch city of Utrecht.
When I was a kid I preferred to play with Playmobil figures so I never was a huge fan of Lego but still I can appreciate this kind of pop up events.
Lego and Bol.com (which is similar to Amazon) have joined forces and opened this pop up store until next week. That is what I love to do: to record something that is temporary.
At this flowershop you cannot buy the products but you need to scan a QR code so you can order the products online at Bol.com. There is a whole range of Lego Botanical products available.
Because it was a lovely warm day many people come to this part of the city to enjoy a nice drink at the café’s. Unfortunately I could not sketch at the pop up store so I went to café De Postillon where the owner was very friendly. I really enjoyed bring there so I could make some sketches with a new watercolour palette.
The Lego pop up store was set up for Mother’s Day so unfortunately it is now closed and gone.
