I visited VICTORIA FALLS, one of the 7 WONDERS of the WORLD! | Zimbabwe Africa 2022

In February 2022, I traveled to Zimbabwe and Zambia to see Victoria Falls. It's one of the seven wonders of the world, and since I'm obsessed with waterfalls, I had to see it for myself! It was the the MOST BREATHTAKING place I've ever been to and I'm so glad I made the trip to see it! Plus, we also went on a few safaris and did a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, so be sure to stay til the end to see all of our activities! I’ve been looking for a video of the falls at high water, so really appreciated your video. I’m booked to be in South Africa in late March 2025 and then to Victoria Falls the first week of April…and understand that the water should be high at that time of year.

A misnomer, if ever there was one! Dr Livingston. a decendant of “Eurasia”, took back first tidings to his ‘historic world of seven wonders’ about this most impressive spectacular in Central Africa many, many milennia after the ancient score of the “Seven Wonders of the World” had been counted, set and completed. As much as most people admire and adore this African Spectacular (including myself) Mosi-oa-Tunya or Victoria Falls - as it became arrogantly to be known by the Britishers - does not form part or counts into that elitary number of the debatably named 7 World Wonders! Unsurprisingly so, the Continent of Africa is deservedly and suitably endowed with her own grand, new and ancient wonders of the world to establish its own ‘list’ - Uhuru-style!

You missed a trick by not visiting the Lookout cafe it's only a 10 minute walk from the entrance of Vic Falls - beautiful cafe with stunning views whilst watching folks zip lining across the gorge , ''World culinary Awards committee'' nominated the Lookout cafe best landmark Restaurant in Africa 2021 ....Vic Falls the adventure capital of Africa with so much to do and see - great video by the way glad you guys enjoyed your time.

I know....we were sad that we didn't see the Lookout Cafe, but for some reason people told us it wasn't close. Plus we had wifi issues the whole time, so it was most likely our fault for not looking in advance haha but either way we loved our time there and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a unique (and memorable) experience!!

I really liked you vlog of your trip to Africa! We are scheduled to leave for Johannesburg at the end of this month. Our trip, like yours, is to see Victoria Falls. We were on the fence about the Boma dinner (mainly because of pandemic concerns). But after seeing your clip, it seems like there’s sufficient space with your table with the others in the room. So we are now leaning toward eating there! I am curious what game drive you took in Victoria Falls. If and when you have time, please let me know. Thanks!

I'm glad this video was helpful! I don't remember the exact name of each safari we did (because we booked through the hotel we stayed at) but one was in a private game reserve and the other one was in the national forest. Hope you have an amazing trip! It's really a once in a lifetime experience!

Like the bridge over the river between the two countries, which the Zambians call the Zam-zim and the Zimbabweans call the the Zim-zam. We were on the Zimbabwe side, where they like to say: "Zambia has the falls, but we have the views." I'm sure there are magnificent views on both sides, but I tend to agree with the Zimbabweans.

What's up with Zambians people hating when they see tourist on the Zim side saying it's Zambian falls and that you should be on the Zambian side bla bla bla.....its on the boarder of the 2 countries ...it belongs to the two countries...both Zambia and Zimbabwe sides have different views of the falls...where as if u really want to experience n see the falls up close you get to the Zambian side and when u want to see most of the fall you go to the Zim side since 3/4 of the view of the fall is seen there and it doesn't completely dries up in summer like the one on Zambian side....meaning in Summer there is no water fall view to see if u go to the Zambian side....

Haha for yo own information..3/4 of vic falls best view is on the Zim side...and during summer the Zimbian 1/4 falls view completely dries up🤣😂🤣 meaning there is nothing to see there in summer....its on the boarder of the 2 countries ...Zambian should stop hating wen they see tourists enjoying whilst they are on the Zim side...u dnt hear Zimboz talk trash abt that 1/4 view of the fall u have... only Zambians trying to claim the ho vic falls ...pathetic 😏😒😒

Zim side has more to offer than the falls itself..its more developed and has infrastructure that suits the needs of most tourists...Vic falls international airport is in Zim, Vic falls town is in Zim.. the town has access to banks, Safaris, restaurants, fast food outlets eg KFC which most international tourists relate to...there are more hotels in Zim side than Zambian side ...
