In today's Travel Documentary, I visited and toured this beautiful destination, zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is a Landlocked Country located in the south of Africa between the Zambezi and Limpopo Rivers, bordered by South Africa Botswana, Zambia, and Mozambique.
The capital and largest city is Harare and also the most populated city, home to 3 Million people. The people of Zimbabwe are big on conversation, planting trees and nurturing gardens is a thing here. I visited Victoria falls, Bulawayo and Eastern Highlands. Enjoy!

You can say that again Buhlebz. I am so glad these KZbinrs are doing this but my desire is to see Zimbabwean KZbinrs grow to the sizes of these big KZbinrs like Wode Maya and Co! It will be good for Zimbabweans to do that for themselves too. I am a new Zimbabwean KZbinr based in the UK 🇬🇧 and I am wondering 🤔 how best I can contribute to the Zimbabwean narrative from abroad.

I was embarrassed to have never visited the Victoria Falls despite being Zambian. Had to go there in 2016, I find the only limitations that put us Africans off from travelling within Africa or our own countries is money. Accommodation is very expensive in Zambia and Zimbabwe. As someone who's lived in Asia, traveled to other parts of the world. I do qualify to make this statement.

@drmamu1623, would you believe that up until the early 2000, Zim cities were way ahead in terms being developed than than all of African countries, only comparable to European countries like Scotland. All African countries were playing catch up, and some instances, there are still playing catch up. The rate of Development has slowed down but Zim is still is still more developed than some of the now fastest developing countries in Africa.Yes, some have now surpassed Zim in some aspects but...... I have just come back home to Harare from a fabulous Vic Falls break. Nyanga,Vumba ,Aberfoyle estates in the Honde valley & Chimanimani are spectacular destinations in the Eastern Highlands. There are lots of little beautiful inns & hotels tucked away in the mountains.Tony's coffee shop in the Vumba offers the best cakes & hot beverages in the whole wide world( in my book).

You are Right its Africans who should show the World what the continent has . Whites will not show or talk about the beautiful side its up to Africans . Remember when it comes to Zimbabwe Whites will always show bad things all because they're so Bitter over the LAND issue that was started by Hitler Hunzwi .

My husband is from there, we planning on going to visit this December, Im having doubts about going there...the fear of the unkown is really scaring me, i have never left South Africa before, so it would be something new for me, all i have been hearing is the negative stories about Zim...this is possibly changing my mind about Zim. Thanks steve.

The importance of town planning is absolutely paramount. When one is unfortunate enough to have to visit or live in countries without urban planning you very quickly realise it is the backbone to development. Countries like Lesotho should get training from countries like Rwanda and Zimbabwe in urban planning and keeping a clean city. We don't need IMF loans and UN consultants to improve quality of life in Africa, just commonsense, a sense of dignity, a willingness to form effective local partnerships and learn from best practice. I absolutely despair of the littering and filth in some of the continent. It's unacceptable.
