hey man, I personally was unlucky in that I slept through the direct and had it spoiled to me while still half asleep. While it would have been nice to have seen it live, the very fact that it even happened in the first place has just launched me into some stupid euphoric high for the last 3 days now. Watching all these reactions such as yours is so cathartic in seeing how XC2 was initially shafted with Rex mii costume for what feels like a decade now and seeing your low expectations being blow tf out the water with this reveal. Granted, this wasn't completely out of left field but we all know Nintendo and what it do. When I knew it was confirmed we got Pyra and Mythra, I cried, not because I love them both, but because this meant Nintendo actually gives a shit about Xenoblade and they’re willing to tell all 23+ million people who bought Smash Ultimate that they love Xenoblade and they should go buy the games. I was willing to take any Xenoblade rep, especially from XC2. It's disappointing, but Sakurai has been clearly prioritizing Xenoblade 2 content (as Xenoblade X got nothing more than a few spirits) since the release of the game. I can understand it...XC2 is much more popular and technically has 2 games (with Mythra being a main character in both). I'd be a lot happier if we could get ANY music from X into Smash or a port of the game to the switch or an X2... The game is just too good to be forgotten. :( Maybe there is a slight chance of an Elma mii costume with Uncontrollable in the next set? That's probably the best we can hope for in terms of X content in Smash at this point.
