It allows swimming to take place upriver of Putney Bridge through to Teddington. Best to seek further info before anyone sets on this adventure. The River Thames appears brown because there is silt on the riverbed. This silt is made up of fine particles which disperse in the water and make it look muddy. Thanks for the footage.
