This game is basically a giant love letter to the classic age of gaming. Not just in the references and graphics, but in it's attempt to recreate that feeling of playing all those "NES-hard" era games for the first time as a kid with it's unfair difficulty.

I was able to beat it on my old windows l7 laptop. Ah, those were the days in which I just wanted something fun to play, and it certainly was fun once you got used to the traps. Plus, the references to old games were at least endearing, if not patronizing.

I remember playing this game and looking up a playthrough, I think I saw the fourth part of the video series, and I remembered how I got stuck on the maze part near the end of the game, so I looked up a walkthrough and when I finished the game, I felt so happy and blissful; gosh, I remember 2008, and boy was it a hard game, but you will feel accomplished when you beat this game, trust me.
