We actually did try this, but were disappointed to find out that the orb is only available after beating the boss.

can someone explain to me how clipping through the spike wall at the start is done? like i know how it works i just wanna know how to do it TwT

That is actually a really simple thing that anyone could do on their first playthrough if they follow these steps: when you begin falling down to the area with the spike wall, run your character against the right wall like you see me do briefly on your way down. Then start holding left as soon as you touch the ground and bam, you've passed through the spike wall. The spike wall skips exactly one character size every time it moves. Thus, if you align your character with the correct pixels, you can pass through it. It's surprisingly easier than it looks.

I am not sure where Dot kid originates from. I'm assuming somebody just had a silly idea to use a pixel to make platforming levels that could be tighter than possible with kid.
