Leading up to the fight, He said Wardley was a nice guy and pleasant, said wardley wouldnt look him in the eye and was nervous etc he said he could go Ipswich and noone would trouble him, people didnt know who Wardley was and all that Jazz, even said but "Wardley aint built like me" Thats the problem, he acted like a typical London roadman (like aint no tough men outside London) and judged Wardleys humble manner as weakness.
