Please take some time to enjoy each other as a couple first before having a baby! My husband and I were married for 4 years before I got preggo with our first. We were in grad school together for the first two. Having that time together before kids was sooooo important for our marriage and relationship. Because, once kids are in the picture, they take up so much of your love, time, energy, etc. And you can’t go back to it just being the two of you (until they are out of the house years later!) This time together is absolutely sacred and builds the foundation for your entire marriage and life with your kids and family!

Babies can be a lot! I know you both have younger siblings and will do great but it is a good idea to get a pet first so that way you can see how you work together with the pet and then build up to the baby

Like my opinion matters, but I say go for starting your family! You never know, it might take awhile to get pregnant or it might happen right away! All I know is we never regretted it, ever! But did notice it’s harder the older you get.

Do your research on the "teacup pigs" they don't stay small like people think. They get up to 100-200 pounds. And I'd hope you wouldn't just get something while it's small then get rid of it once it gets big. Animals have feelings just like we do and they do feel abandoned when stuff like that happens.

A lot of people discount the amount of work pets are. They are just as much work, and depending on your lifestyle and knowledge of animal training, they could even be more work than a baby. I feel like people think pets (like dogs) are a starting point to see if you’re ready for kids, and it’s okay to test that on an animal because it’s not a baby. But if you realize you aren’t ready, it’s still has a huge affect on that animals life. And animals, like dogs, get brought to shelters everyday because of owners not being able to care for them or put in the work to train them properly. Not saying you guys aren’t ready for one, but please don’t cave into the pressure of expanding your family before you’re BOTH fully ready! much love 💕

I don't think Chase is ready for kids yet. You might be KennaDee, but I don't think he is. It's going to be a long time probably before he's ready, I'm sure he'd like to finish school first, that's just my opinion. Babies look cute but it’s hard work raising babies especially if Chase is still studying etc it’s alot of pressure and KennaDee no one tells you just how exhausting having a baby is. Enjoy a pet first..then in a year or two maybe revisit the subject? Enjoy your new married life.. you’ll never get it back so just enjoy 😉😘♥️
