Girl, body positivity is about loving the body you're in. If you want to change it, that's being positive about making changes you want. Not changes other people want. Lose that weight and be happy. The whole community does judge others for wanting to lose weight and I think it's totally wrong. Good luck with everything and keep us updated🖤🖤🖤🖤🥀

I think it's fine to lose weight and it's fine to not lose weight. Your body is your business, and no one has the right to decide that except you. You have the right to be your own size and if you want to change it that's fine, as long as you are doing it for *YOU!* not because of what OTHER people tell you! People should not tell people how they should be! You have the right to decide that! Just BE YOU!! and do whatever floats your boat :)

I think it's important to practice body acceptance at any size your body may be. I'm body positive and currently losing weight. I don't believe that in order to be body positive you have to stay the way you are. People are forever changing. Weight is always fluctuating. I would love to see more videos on this, and I wish you the best of luck! I'm going to go follow your Instagram right now 😊!

Thank you so much for being honest about this topic. Weight loss can absolutely be body positive! By definition if you're changing your body in a way that makes you feel better physically and/or externally, you're treating your body in a positive way. Do whatever YOU want to YOUR body and dont let anyone you think you're wrong for those choices. I'm another spooky girl just starting to document my weight loss journey and I already feel better physically after losing 30 lbs.

Body Positivity to me is taking care of the body you have. You do what makes you happy and what makes your body feel better.

Being body positive is being positive about ALL body types, but you also want to live your best life by being the healthiest you can be. You may be at your healthiest at a size 2, a size 10, or size 34. Everyone is different. Don't feel bad because you would feel more positive about yourself at a smaller size.

i have never liked the mindset of "if you lose weight you're betraying then bopo movement". that is decidedly not a body positive point of view. My weight has fluctuated so much over the years... ive been as small as a 14/16 and as large as a 28/30. I was so unhappy at my smallest size and now at a solid 26 im so happy in my skin and take and post lewds and have actually looked into becoming a plus size boudoir patreon model . I'd like to get back to the gym and eating a better diet because I am 30 now and want to be healthier... should i lose weight doing that... then that's fine. If i dont... that's also fine. I have chronic back pain from an injury when i was working and just getting back to the gym will help with my mobility. Do what makes you happy. Healthy is relative... it doesnt mean fit and then. it means eating foods that fuel your body in a productive way. it means what your body naturally sits at while you are active regularly. When I'm eating right and in the gym im naturally around a size 22. and unless i excessively go to the gym and make that my entire goal and life i probably wont get any smaller than a 20/22. and thats fine.

New subscriber here.🙂You’re adorable. You gotta do what’s right for you. I’m 45 years old and have been on diets since age 7. Come from a family that put great emphasis on weight which caused me to develop anorexia at age 10 then binge eating disorder for years. I had a mother whose motto was “Men don’t want to marry fat women” from childhood that was drilled into my brain. Had an uncle tell me to ask people to give me a dollar for every pound I could lose and I was around 8 years of age. I was just chubby before puberty, but my brain got messed up. I’ve lost as much as 170 pounds, my highest was 367 in my late 20’s and low was 199 (my goal for over 20 years) I reached early 2017. Now I’m 260ish and tired lol. Severe health issues have made me practically bed ridden. I definitely think it’s healthy to be a size that doesn’t stress your frame. I have ruptured and slipped discs from neck to tailbone causing spinal cord compression, my knee cartilage is gone and I have spurs digging into my Achilles on both feet. I’d like to be back to 199 because I felt more comfortable, my clothes are starting to get tighter and it’s annoying me. I just want to keep it off! That being said I personally think people are beautiful regardless of size but health is of utmost importance. I think some people’s frames can withstand heavier weight. Unfortunately mine got crushed by it. Good luck girl!💫✨👍🏻

glad to hear your are talking really honestly about this subject from another perspective who is overweight. yeah, I'm in kind the same position myself, like i want to lose weight, but then my food craving get the better of me and i end up eating more then i should, so it's like a constant vicious cycle. i mainly want to lose weight pretty much the same reason as you as I am starting to have minor health issues related to my weight myself and i know it's only going to get worse as time goes on, so i figure i better tackle it now before it does. glad that you found a weight loss method that works for you and that your not going to extremes to have that fit body. my view on this is that is good to love yourself with the body shape you have, but it's also important to maintain your health and be mindful of your weight because if you don't it will come right back at your in awful ways. anyway, thanks for your insight on this and the book recommendations too.

im on a similar journey, i too am trying to loose weight as well so i can feel better and have more energy. You look great and i can already tell you are looking slimmer. I just got to a point when i was tired of not being able to do the simple things like tie my shoe and walk my dogs without being out of breath or struggle. You got to do whats right for you no matter what other say. I support you all the way and am right there with you on a similar path. great video! :)

As long as you’re happy and feeling good - I think that’s all that matters. I’d love to follow your progress and I have no issues with whatever you post as I love your points of view on all sorts of topics. One of my favourite videos of yours is when you’re just chilling and doing Forever 21 online shopping lol :)

also doing the same!! ❤ I would love to see more about it. I also don't see much from people in the alt/goth/etc styles talking about fitness & health or weight loss esp. so that's always makes it seem more interesting and relatable, personally. wishing you the best!!

I just lost 100lbs. If you have questions let me know. I learned how from Dr. Berg here on KZbin. He does keto. The other thing that helped was being on antidepressants. It's hard to make positive changes when you're depressed. The body positive community is a mess. Do what's best for you and try to love yourself. Good luck.

Woot!! You go girl. Look, you can't please everyone but you can please yourself. No matter what you do someone is going to hate you for it. I lost weight by only eating one normal meal a day. It was fast at first but now it's slowed down and I guess I have to up my exercise routine, which is hard with a toddler who climbs all over me.
