As a Gemini I’m always disappointed with the shades we get. We always get bright/fluorescent green/yellow which I personally don’t care for or a pearly white. I would love to see a thermal or duochrome polish for us!

As a Cancer, I initially didn't like the choice. But I thought about it and it reminds me of shimmering moonlight and starshine. Plus, I am a magpie and love super sparkle. ✨ Your choices, though, were immediate hits and I got quite a few that you shared with us! 🥰

I’m *shocked* Gemini wasn’t a duochrome or a contrasting base/shimmer! Cancer Sun/rising and Scorpio Moon here, and I do really like them both… but not enough to buy either 🙃 Honestly Gemini’s would’ve worked as Cancer for me because it’s got a very soothing maternal vibe, or at least, I can picture an older woman wearing it. But yeah, most of this collection felt like it was put together by people with little to no interest in astrology. Some pretty shades but my bank account is safe for now! 😅

I am a cancer and I do like what we got! Its sparkly and festive, and can be worn as full on nail polish or a s a topper etc. I also like few other shades bc they are just different I guess, but I understand where you coming from and why some of them just didnt do it for you! And what is up with the pearly shades lately? Am I missing something or this trend is back....lol

yess Cancer definitely got one of the best shades!! 🤩 i think it would look so stunning over a navy blue! but yeah some of them i do like & appreciate, i just wish they had a little more oomph to them lol. and omg i know! i think pearly shades really made a comeback this year with all the seashell / mermaid nail art trends.. i can appreciate them for those isolated uses but yeah it’s not my preferred finish 😝

It was a very pleasant surprise as a Scorpio to see such a cool cobalt shade! Honestly getting a deep red for my sign usually turns me off, I just don't resonate with that at all.

I agree :) I'm scorpio, passionnate about astrology and have a lot of scorpios in my planet's signs. Red goes with the idea of seductive, sexy, dominant energy of scorpios in people's mind, but this particular shade of Blue, the night sky, at the end of the blue hour, when it's not completely dark yet, but you begin to see the stars nonetheless, it sure really the energy of scorpios. Halloween, Samain, the crossing from light to dark. So, yeah, it's a really beautiful shade, and also a very clever one.

First of all, I think that you have a really good understanding of the zodiac signs. Secondly, I have to ask, what the he🏒🏒 happened to OPI?! They used to come out with the best colors & the best names! For 2-3 years now, they’ve been underwhelming, to say the least. I’m Taurus, while my daughters are Leo & Gemini. They totally missed the mark with us all ! Honestly, there wasn’t one color that I liked in this collection. If they had made Aries more of an orange-red, that would have been my pick.

Thank you for another fun zodiac related video! I think they did good with Pisces, it looks just like my Aquamarine ring. Better than other aquamarine inspired polishes that I have. So as a result of watching I just picked up my Pisces polish for $5.79 on clearance at Sally's. I also went for the Cancer one. I was surprised at first how sparkly it was but then I thought of moonlight and Moon ruling Cancer and I was OK with it. I think Leo polish would've been perfect with a sunny orange shimmer! But still my Leo friend won't wear it. She only wears reds, oranges in the Fall and purples sometimes, so I did not pick up that Leo one for her. I kinda loved Taurus polish, it screams May flowers and Venus energy to me, but I have too many similar greens. But I bet my Taurus friend will disagree, I'll have to ask him!

The zodiac queen has weighed in! 😂👏 this was fun to watch since your own zodiac series is so strong! I like the color ok for mine (sagi), but I sadly really don’t like the polish (but I hope some other sagis like it! 😅). I like everyone else’s more than my own! BUT the Gemini I know loves theirs, and the Scorpio I know hates purple and loves cobalt blue. Maybe the less obvious representation polishes might actually be just right for folks who are very different from the “norm” for their signs and usually feel iffy about more stereotypical representations!? 😂

@@PolishedYogi I even showed them a lineup that wasn’t in zodiac order and had them pick out what they thought was theirs (the Scorpio pointed out the red), but then pick out which was their personal fav (Scorpio picked their blue!)! It’s also not a traditional sagi polish, but I love Whatcha’s Sagittarius. I know it would be a lot of work, but it would be neat to see you review other zodiac collections some time 🤩! LynB also is doing a very pretty zodiac series. And Color Club has some, right?

I just found your channel! Cool review! As a Cancer, with Scorpio Rising, I can tell you I am anything but subtle. Lol I LUV sparkle, and GLAM, and am usually pretty intense. I wear a very dark and dramatic smokey eye with an uber pale nude lip as my signature look . I do love pink, but with an edge. :) And I am definitely not the quiet type. Could be Sorpio's effect, or that I am of Latin descent, or both. :) I LUV the pale silvery sheer sparkle OPI chose for the Cancer sign!! It is totally ME. I also think that shimmery Pices pale aqua color is very Canceranian. As for the Scorpio color -- since is an intense blue and shimmery, I see how it could fit, but personally, I can't wear blue np very well, so it is a pass for me. I think of Scorpio as being very sexy, intense, passionate, vampy. I agree with you that a stereotypical shade for that sign would be a very intense or super vampy red. I do think the deep shimmery blue does work though, but maybe it should have been a much deeper shade of blue -- a more shimmery, and darker version of OPI Russian Blue! Thanks to your review, I am going to buy the Cancer Zodiac sign np today! I think it will be perfect for New Year Eve -- maybe as a topcoat over a pale pink nude or pale Grey.

I actually liked a lot of the colors and the finishes for this collection, however I'm bummed about how sheer most of them are. I don't think you should have to do more than 2-3 coats to get full opacity. I might wait for these to eventually hit the shelves at cheaper retail stores like TJ Maxx/Marshalls to pick up a few of them.

i get what you mean, it’s almost disappointing especially considering OPI’s usual creamy & opaque formula, but shimmers are usually more sheer to let the flakies/glitter/shimmer particles layer up & shine through the base. totally get thats not for everyone though 😅 yeah i would say its worth finding these on clearance & layering them over similar color bases!

I loved some of the shades in this collection…but I don’t necessarily think they go with their corresponding zodiac. 🤣 I am Cancer Sun, Scorpio Moon, and Sagittarius Rising. So I did pick up those colors. I think with cancer they were maybe trying to replicate how shifty moonstones, or alexandrite’s are. But I would have loved it more if there had been a blue or purple base to the Holo to replicate the birthstones. I also did pick up Virgo and Aries. I think Aries will be so perfect for holiday! And my hubby is an Aries. He actually really liked it. And I unexpectedly fell in love with Virgo! It is so beautiful! Just something about it. My mom is a Virgo, so I picked that one up too.

So, I thought the holo was a great inexpensive topper option. I liked some of the sheers to maybe layer over some of my cremes. I have Rue Morgue so I don’t need that one. I got kiss my Aires in search of a red with gold shimmer to replace my sister’s love of Friar, Friar Pants on Fire. I have Orly’s Cran-barely Believe It and will take her Pandemonium to see if any work.

yeah the holo shade is super pretty!! & yeah totally think the sheers would look better layered over a similar colored base. Kiss My Aries is super pretty & def looks like a good replacement for Friar Friar (i’m tempted to say mooncat’s Pandemonium looks even more similar!) and ohh that Orly shade looks soo lovely too, definitely would love to see how those would compare! 😍

I am a Cancer and I LOVE anything sparkly, bright and epic. (not red, I am sick of it) My mom is a Cancer, too. She wears more brown and beige than I do, but she loves and wears bright colors as well - red, orange, jellow, green. I had 2 Cancer collegues, one dressed like a Leo and other one loved to wear softer pink tones. So, I would disagree that Cancers love bland colors. I love my shade in this lineup. I love all these shades cause they are shimmers (I love shimmer polishes the best), but mine, Pisces and Libra are my favorite.

@@PolishedYogi Yeah, Cancer def "shines" here the most 😁 I won't pick up the Sag, Aquarius and the other deep blue not because I don't like the colors, I do, really, but I don't really love dark colors on my nails. Even if I have them, I don't wear them often 😅 OPI solved my problem with silver - I don't have any silver polish right now and was looking toward their Christmas silver, but silver holo? Hold my tea cup😃 I love OPI polishes as I don't live in US and don't have easy acess to indie brands from US. I was drooling over INLP polishes, but the shipping and everything... 😐

OPI’s special finishes always feel like I know what they were trying to do but it’s never quite there. And they need to change their terrible brush, enough already. as a leo i can honestly say i would not pick the leo shade specifically for it's leo-ness and i love gold, but somehow it didn't hit the mark for me? Also, would have loved to see something with more sparkle factor so maybe if it had some nice holo flecks? i do like a lot of the collection, and while i don't think the leo shade calls to me as a leo i'd probably wear it anyway 😅.

yeah exactly my thoughts! it just felt like it was missing a more dazzling effect that I associate with Leos, the gold just wasn’t enough in that finish at least. if it was that shimmer finish like Aries/Scorpio I probably would’ve liked it a lot better! the pearl fell flat 😐 but hahah yes i’m sure it would still look amazing on you if you wore it! 😝🤩🦁

As a Leo, I agreed with your assessment. I didn’t like the Leo one, it just wasn’t a good shade of gold for me. And I do like Demeter’s Harvest from Mooncat, so it’s not like a don’t like a green leaning gold, but I think this OPI Leo polish just didn’t give me enough of…shine, dazzle, something. It seemed very simple. I think the shade of gold just needed to be more warm in my opinion.

yesss exactly this!! its missing the shine & dazzle that comes with Leo 😩 and omg I didn’t even think of comparing to Demeter’s Harvest!! that ones a lot lighter so I like it more lol aside from the fact the shimmer formula is just much better 😅 def would’ve loved a warm gold, even if that was “expected/basic” for Leo. it just works!!

No. I think NOT!!! 🤬 I've seen far more "matronly" shades for my sign of Cancer than I care to admit, and all I could think was YUCK! NO. Gemini can have this matronly shade this time, I'm taking the HOLO! (Also, when I wore that shade on a nail, my bf, who IS a Gemini, actually kind of liked it)

This is all personal opinion and thrilled for folks that do love this collection. I loved the idea of it, but all the shades just seemed....meh. I think we're spoiled with all the indie/boutique brands releasing incredible collections/drops back-to-back. So to have not incredible coverage on a lot of these and no wow-factor finishes....it's a pass.

As a cancer sun / libra rising I am super disappointed with these shades. Libra was way off. Cancer should have been a soft squishy crème. I feel so bad for Leo’s too! Probably the worst shade of the bunch.
