It never ceases to amaze me how much bigger a property is when the lawn is mowed and trimmed. And of course the house can breath again.

Actually it's good because The long grass reduces sound it reduces the sunlight and filter air pollution. in the the summer it makes a pufferzone so the soil doesn't heat up so much and by evaporation it cool down the local microclimate

I watch you clean these yards and i am just amazed at the type of grass is so THICK and the blades are so LARGE. I think it would be cool to trim up the trees/shrubs and make them look nice but I get people can be particular about their trees.

Tim you are a kind soul. See those railway nails, you should take them and chrome them for exhibition purposes. Lost and found section. What a laugh, you twirling around and around with that Stihl in your hand as though where am I? I love cutting the lawn, it always came up so nice, now the boys wanted a cylinder blade machine, I don's cut anymore this is a bit too heavy for me. Love your videos. Hey mate I've got a massive very overgrown lawn you can come mow if you want. Most is knee high some higher. I haven't been able to mow my lawn since November last year. My mower broke down and I had a work place Injury. So I've been trying to fix the mower as well as fix myself. Most contractors don't want to touch it or want a fortune that no one can afford

Another nice job done even though you struggled to find it !!! The ‘metal nail’ you uncovered is a tool called a ‘cold chisel’, used for breaking stone, concrete etc !!! 👍👍👍👍🇬🇧

Day Joy And that chisel is long overdue for a grinder. That mushroomed head is dangerous. Hit on that hard enough and a piece breaks off it's gonna go into you like a bullet.

Thank you to whoever that female voice was on the video who said “mow first.” In so many lawn videos I think why not mow it down first so you can see the borders and see the edges. I see so many where they spend so much time edging and weed earring these areas where they can’t even see the borders, and then they end up mowing over the same area later.

If only Mr. No Means No actually knew what he just turned down. I guess in all fairness I'm not sure what I would say if someone I didn't know knocked on my door & offered me something that sounded too good to be true. These days it seems like we're all somewhat conditioned to be wary of strangers. Wonder if there are any organizations in your area where someone can go to make others aware they're struggling with things like lawn care? People would be more willing to accept your help & you wouldn't waste so much time trying to find these lawns. Just a thought...

Colourbond fences are popular in Australia. In some areas wooden fences just don't last long term due to weather and pests such as termites.
