@@MsPBJTime im gonna say this plain to you because you seem grown enough to listen, every simner is going to hell that is including you and me unless you and me repent and believe in Jesus Christ that he died and rose on the third day and follow Gods commandments. Atheists believe that there is no God and the big bang made everything. to believe in the big bang is a contradiction on your part and is foolish to believe in and athiests say nothing cannot create something but the big bang was nothing but then it just so happened to be something and just so happen to be there at the right time to make an explosion in space to instantaneously create life and the stars, and planets. Lets say the big bang did create the planets, how did it create life, how did it create you? How could have it created thinking, intelligent, humans and other life on this planet that can eat and drink? How did it know where to place all your organs and wire them up so perfectly that your body works in harmony, how did it know where to place all the ore vains and tree placement and lakes. The big bang is a non living, non thinking or intelligent object that just so happened to be created from nothing and made everything all at once. And you might come at me saying "oh i dont believe in the big bang", well thats also a contradiction as well for athiests. So there has to be a Creator which is God that can think, is living, and is intelligent to create everything. Unlike the big bang, God was here from the very beginning and is the Alpha and Omega the Beginning and the End while the big bang is an object that just so happened to be created from nothing and made everything all at once.

I live on the same property as my girlfriend’s grandpa, and I don’t have any of my own, they have passed away, so it’s such a blessing to be able to help him with things he needs like this as he can’t do a lot himself anymore. All older people need the younger generation to help them, it’s so important and we don’t realize. Older people have so much to teach us.

As their bodies give out, they need a helping hand, and during those times they impart wisdom. I lost all of my grandparent pretty young , but I work in elder care as a RN, so I can still learn from this amazing aging generation, who is tough as nails! Even ones with dementia still remember things that and have great advice!

Our former church in Peoria Arizona, led by my late brother in law, worked with the City of Peoria. They supplied tools and paint. We usually did 6 unkempt houses in one block area. At least 25 of us formed yard cleanup and house exterior paint crews. What a soul lifting endeavor. Sometimes we met homeowners who reacted like this beautiful sister. God is good.
@CItMyWay-i9g2 ай бұрын
What a wonderful thing to do! I know that when I was in need my church got a group together to help remove a large limb that fell from a tree after lightning hit it. Not only did they come to do the branch, but so many showed up that they ended up doing a bunch of other yard work for me. I, in turn, quickly thawed a bunch of meat and other things and threw an impromptu bbq to thank them all for the help they provided to me. It was such a blessing. And, when *I* was called to help a family pack to move, something I was capable of doing, I jumped at the chance to give back. That's the way the world SHOULD work. People helping people...instead we all just hold up in our homes like prisoners, rarely meeting our neighbors and the though of helping any of them is actually a frightening thought. It's sad the way people are today. I've lived in my house for nearly 10 years now and I can count with one hand, and fingers left over, how mahy times I've spoken to my closest neighbors. It's sad...but everyone just keeps to themselves (mind your own damn business as Tim Walz would say) and never really interacts with one another. This is taking "mind your own damn business" to new heights for sure and probably NOT what Tim actually meant.

I totally understand how these folks feel. I have almost 3 acres with the front section a little over an acre and half. I used to cut it with a push mower but have been disabled for ten years and can't do it now even with a riding mower. People want to charge a small fortune to cut it. Since last year a wonderful young man has been maintaining it for $100 every 2-3 weeks. Sadly, he passed away a month ago in a motorcycle accident. I went to his funeral and cried upon learning of his passing. We texted between him coming out and I treated him as one of my own children. I'm at a loss as to finding someone else just because it's hard to get trustworthy and affordable people. Especially on a disability income that I also care for my autistic daughter. This young man is an amazing young man and giving many people a gift of peace and less stress. My neighbor has called the county on me several times if my yard gets too long or my trashcan stays at the road too long.

Unfortunately, Cities don't think like that. They simply put a ntoice on the door and tell you to fix in within a certain amount of time or they'll start fining you for not remedying the problem within the allotted time. The cities would NEVER send anyone out to help anyone for free. That's just asking too much (totally saying this sarcasticly)..but it's true. The city isn't there to help it's community. They are there to enforce the laws and ordinances that the city councel ahs agreed on. They don't care how you get xyz done. They just care that it'd done within the allotted time frame. It's sad really. It would be so easy for them to send one of their crews out for only an hour to fix up someones front yard, but they don't. In fact, if they DO have to send someone out to "fix" the problem, they will charge you through the nose for the service! I've seen this happen to more than one family. The city has to come to clean out their front yards, or whatever, and they are then presented with a HUGE bill, that the homeowner of course can't pay, so the City takes action..wether it's to garnish wages, if there are any to garnish, or put a lien on the property..any number of remedies the City could impose. It's so sad! I'm grateful to see the Blessing Boys helping out this family. Hopefully the city won't fine them or, if they have fined them, will reduce the amount of the fine to a level that these people can actually pay without forgoing food on the table.
