Simply not true, it is a ISU with great mobility, and great armor as long as people don't have good enough gold pen for the upper hull armor. Yes from long range it doesn't work but no one plays like that anyways. The idea of a ISU with armor is cancerish as fuck. If Grom is situational, then ISU is dogshit. If you think Grom is situational, skill issue from your side. And not just that, people with experience and game knowledge like iyouxin simply know better, so ur also braindead. Let's not forget 13 seconds reload for 500-900 (close en medium range) which is sick. ISU reloads like 16 seconds, yes u can hit from afar but ISU is also meant to be played aggressively as a support vehicle so If you constantly snipe in that, ur bad as well

Agree with you. AMX AC 48 is also capable of wiping the floor with BZ-176 in close quarters too but that doesn't make AMX AC 48 a monster tank either. Sometimes content creaters exaggerate things way too much.

I don't think the Grom is op, because of its weaknesses on open maps but it is certainly one of the best tier 8 tds right now. My average damage in it so far is 2900 which is my highest of my tier 8 tanks (I am a 4k wn8 player). The tank is almost certainly underrated and I have no regrets about picking it up

Guess that was cherry picked as well...i have 3k dpg in it which for a tier 8 is kinda insane. OP? Not really, but its an absolute beast if you know how to play. Its literally skill issue, any good player will do well with it, winrate diff means nothing for this tank because bots and noobs snipe with it every game and for that its garbage. You need to play very agressive and 90% of player wont play it that way.

Dont regret it. This tank is very very very situational. One Game you make 6k with no efford other battle you die making 600dmg. Cant snipe with it. Cant make agressive plays unless you play against tier 6. Overall Grom wont be meta for sure

One of your recent thumbnail was suggesting that BZ-176 is garbage... Not everything has to be on the either end of extremes, nor does it mean if one tank is OP, the other must be garbage. Chill a bit, and tone down with clickbaiting and hyperboles. The truth is Grom's not as OP as a BZ-176 or Skoda T 56 or a Bourrasque(on a big map). It's a well balanced tank that can shine in some situations, if the battle develops in your favor. And it seems to make good credits.

Its only "Good" if you yourself are a good player, for a casual player, playing a skorpion or some other backline shitter is better, and if they like to brawl just get a turtle or ts5 if you really want a td. Most casual players have ass aim and grom has very bad gun arc so its going to make hitting heavy tank weak spots hard for them.

i just played Babylon Project, last stand mdoe, with a clan. Me in renedage, a guy T-832, and the rest of the people in the Grom. We won almost non stop. Grom guys almost carried the team, but I have to admit. All players from that clan are superunicum

The Grom is Currently 19th at tier 8 on WN8 according to Tomatogg. With 600K games. It is not OP by any measure and preforms about the same as the Turtle. I personally find the Grom easy to play against. It cannot over match anything plus it is APCR. Side scrape against it and shoot it in the lower plate. I demolished one today with my K2, that is how easy they are to counter.

I think it's broken tbh, armor, mobility, absolute insane gun for his tier, kinda small profile and small weakspots. Unhealthy for the game just like BZs. Just by seeing 0:47 is enough to avoid some map parts where a Grom could be there.

grom is not overpowered. grom is strong in good hands or just in certain situations, it is a significant difference. its easier to say its overpowered when u r a good player, but tbf its not a flexible tank and most players wont be able to use it properly, unlike e.g. bz or skoda. i think borat is somewhat similar case to grom, as it has high skill ceiling, but at the same time its much more flexible and can be easily played on every map.

Its OP 100%... I dont mind play against any tier 8 tank with my Somua , but not Grom with good player. I can clip him 1x or 2 x times and he go back to cover, with 700 damage to me.. Then he come again with other 700 -800 damages from cover!

It is a tier good tier IX tank in tier VIII: compare it with WT auf Pz IV. About same pen, more dpm, more alpha, better armor, better gun depression, better shell velocity, comparable gun handling, better mobility. It is fucking ridiculous how op is this tank. This vehicle even being much more heavier than WT auf Pz IV has better terrain resistances: Wargaming physics. It shell loses less pen than all shells on WT. Simply it is a better tier IX, but it is tier VIII. And even its alpha is higher. Wargaming balancing staff should be fired.

You only can show a table with stats on it. But theses stats are not inside the game when you play, it is visible. One vehicle is non armored and has bad pen with atrocious penetration loss and ridiculous bad and arbitrary bad mobility, bad gun depression and bad stabilization and because of this you say it is sneeaky: sorry you are silly, just that. I have close to 4k dpg with this tank. Truly insane tank better than kilana good to solo play and great in platoon. One time bz cannot pen me i killed him in 2 shots. It is dumb but funny. As I keep saying in the hands of a Unicom it will be a beast but 99% of players are your average joe's will really struggle with the tank. Yes you will have good games but overall you will have more bad games. I still would not recommend this tank and think Wg are taking the rise out of the community because why present a tank knowing that the majority of the community will struggle with it. Perhaps making this tank look good in the hands of Unicoms will generate more sales because a lot of people do not realise their own skill level and always think they are better than they actually are. Good video buddy but it still ain't changed my mind about the Grom.

Ay bro. I don't think you understand, you, Kajzoo and pretty much most WoT CCs can make any tank look OP. You're not an average player, you're way above. OP tanks = powerful even on the hands of average players. Not requiring you to use it on its full potential, it just performs as is. This tank, as you said it yourself, isn't for everyone, which already makes it not OP, but then it also requires you to play a certain way to be effective at all.

Not the first tank what hits hard on tier 8.. and its the only one his plus.. and only close combat. Out of this have only minuses. So yes, grom it is shit. good players in platoon with few good battles doesnt change anything. If you will do platoon on tvp vtu and do the score it will be proof that its op? Where is the logic? Didnt watch all. just click on some moments and notice one thing 1/2 vs many.. and enemies dont even try to push.. with dumb enemies - every tank will be strong. Wish to have one battle like that on grom/kilana, that enemies nicely wait till i reload not like it looks now that they attack in 4 Plus im "suprised" how your gun is accurate while for normal players gun can miss tank from 50m..few times in a row ;p

What people don't understand is that the Kilana is not overpowered because it doesn't have the speed and bad gun handling. The Grom removed both weakness while adding another 100 alpha to the gun. It's the ideal Kilana that I had envisioned.
