It's probably difficult to turn the crank. Plus, the thing will rip itself to shreds. There's already enormous force on the last cog EDIT: I'm still getting replies on this comment I made 3 years ago haha. I'm changing my answer: It's impossible to turn the crank. Any force applied to the crank will be used to bend the crank, and the first few gears. Forcing it will just unceremoniously snap something.

A few decades ago I had a custom BMX my brother made for me. It had a 80 tooth crank sprocket and a 11 tooth rear wheel sprocket. This is sorta how old steam powered ships were propelled. The steam would be pushed through multiple rows of turbine blades which would be spinning around slowly. But at the end of the turbine shaft multiple gears would be magnifying the rpm and turning another long shaft that connected to the propeller. Really fascinating engineering. Theoretically, the more gears you could attach the faster the props would turn. Making the ship go faster.

Its somehow sad to see that the people in the comments here dont understand how gear ratios work. The force required to turn this fast is absolutely immense and the plastic would break very quickly.
