Ngl this is why trains are so amazing. They're so complex and require so much enginuity. A train operator has to know what he's doing or else bad things might happen. Trains are amazingly fascinating and are beautifully engineered. This is why I love them

CHEP looked at infill wall count - he found you could reduce infill percentage, filament used, and increase strength by increased the wall count to 2, - stronger part less filament. Would be interesting to feed his results into yours and see what the optimal is.

when you try to spin the first gear to spin the last gear live stream it, that way you can document if you do time travel

There is nature; science, physics, rules, order and the building blocks of the universe. Then there is the supernatural; unpredictable, unknown, chaotic, subversive and difficult to control. And then there’s these f*cking train wheels that confuse even god

So when the last gear moves JJUUSSTT a little bit so slighty basically marks the end of the universe

Just the backlash in the gears would nullify any meaningful advancement of the final gear. H3ll, just the _compression of the plastic_ would absolutely SWALLOW any movement actually translated as far as the final gear. If you made this gearbox out of shine theoretical impossible exotic matter that was indestructible, perfectly incompressible, and perfectly rigid/inflexible, but otherwise obeyed all laws of physics, and you were able to apply any conceivable amount of torque on the final gear, you'd be limited in how fast you would be able to turn the final gear, because the rotational speed of the first gear would be limited by the speed of light. In order to turn the final gear faster than a certain speed would REQUIRE accelerating the first gear _past_ the speed of light, which is impossible. If you WERE able to accelerate the first gear past the speed of light, it's possible the matter of which it was made would become tachyonic, which would cause it to move backward in time. If the gear moved backward in time, it's direction of rotation would be BACKWARD, thereby creating a paradox, as moving forward beyond a certain speed should result simultaneously moving backward If my intuition is correct, turning the final gear beyond a certain speed would move TIME backward, making your gearbox functionally as a time-machine. If I am correct, and I've just invented a new concept in physics or temporal mechanics, I feel like I should name it... How about...Dr. Whom's Tardy box.

So just a thought what if you used a double flanch system because the velocity of the train should keep it oriented between the 2 flanches and will keep it going foward. Will also possibly make breaking easier

😮You're not going to move time. Your children's, children's grandchildren might change the batteries in it long enough to watch it turnover once. So technically if you set up multiple generations to watch for this one thing technically you bent time. Or figure out how to spin it at lightspeed.
