I was afraid of losing my Jewish identity

Listening to his grandfather’s stories about fighting in World War II gave Jano a greater sense of purpose in life. When he started using drugs in college, he realized they made him feel empty, so he took a job in construction to get his life back in order. Then one day, his boss gave him a gospel tract-and while Jano realized he needed atonement for his mistakes, he was worried that believing in Jesus would mean giving up his Jewish identity.

It's not about being a good or bad person in life...it's about realizing we're ALL sinners...and we are set free thru Jesus :)

Jesus takes away your sins when you believe and except him as Lord and savior.You are covered in Christs' blood so when God the father looks at you he sees Jesus. Amen!

So, then what? If every Jew in the world accepts Jesus, what's next? All the world will be coming to Jerusalem to learn how to get right with God, but what will they hear from us if we are indistinguishable from the Christians? We need to be figuring out how to be Jewish Christians. Does that mean we still have to obey all of the mitzvot? What shall we say about the Temple when it is rebuilt, but we don't do the sacrifices anymore? Do we go back and try to live like it says in the Mishna? That would be comparable to the Sharia, even if far more rational and merciful (not to mention that Islam has always been a patently false religion). People will want to know how Jews who believe in Jesus have changed their lives, and the Christians will want to know how to be even better as Christians. Will there be such a denomination as "Orthodox Jewish Christians"? It sounds like anathema. I guess what I am asking is: how are you still Jewish? How do you practice being Jewish while being a Christian? I struggle with that.

Lukas Aurelius. Hi, I’ve heard from others Jews who have come to believe in Yeshua that They now feel a *complete* Jew. They still keep Shabbat and the others feasts like Passover, Sukot, Shavuot , etc. So, basically nothing change as you live your life as a normal Jew but now you know that Yeshua is your Messiah. They go to Messianic Sinagogas though...
