I have listened to other reaction KZbin channels and nothing compares to Polo. He’s authentic, open-minded, soulful, humble, and just adorable. He talks just enough but not too much. There is something reassuring about getting older and seeing a young man being moved by the music that inspired us as kids back in the 70s. Thank you, Polo!

I'm still partial to the old MSG version from Song Remains the Same. I consider this song Jimmy's masterpiece. Although they cut him out here, John Paul's orchestral arrangements create beautiful passages that evoke complex emotions appropriate for the mystical lyrics. Some of the chord changes have an almost magical ability to really hit you right in the heart when you listen just right. Even the tuning Page plays it in is out of this world.

I had wondered whether they went outside of the core group to get the orchestral arrangement. So often, a "rock" band will want strings in a song, or horns, or woodwinds and not have the musical capability to write all the parts. Arrangement is art. And I should have known. Thank you, John Paul Jones.

The Rain Song is one of the greatest songs ever written. In my opinion. It's amazing that Robert and Jimmy did this live so many years later in their careers. Roberts voice obviously can't hit the notes he once was able to do but still sounds great with a little compensating and Jimmy sounds as good as he ever has. Having the orchestra behind them really makes this a fantastic video.

On drinking, as with anything in life, it is always wise to check yourself to watch for negatives, and simply not let it control your actions or subvert your will. Use it as a treat, as an ease, even as a crutch, but never as an answer, and you'll be fine. The simple answer is always: Know thyself. Much love, brother.
