From the shark’s perspective: “I was just swimming, minding my own business, when a surfboard hit me in the head. Then, I saw the beast...it’s long limbs and terrifying brown eyes. I tried defending myself by biting it, which seemed to work, but I was quickly overpowered. I called out to my buddy for help, but Mother Nature had my back. I’ve been attacked by a shark, was a juvenile tiger shark, I was lucky, it was shallow and I didn’t panic somehow, hit it a bunch and dragged myself to the beach and it let go, needed stitches but I was fine Edit: ignore the name, this is one of the few times I’m being serious on KZbin, if anyone has any questions happy to answer them.

Gustav Åström Yes and no, I understand that it was incredibly rare and the chances of it happening again are near impossible so in a way no, but just feeling how strong a young tiger shark is was very unsettling, I can only imagine how strong a full grown Great White would be, especially if you’re swimming not standing, I’m not small either I’m around 6 foot and pretty muscular but it toyed with me like I was nothing and I think that’s part of the reason I got away, it was only half trying
