I Was Blown Away by This Watch | Farer Chrono-Classic Jackson

Farer Chrono-Classic dial editions feature an elaborate marine-grade steel case with a domed sapphire crystal peak and an internal anti-reflective coating. The compact and elegant case is 39mm in size and includes bead-blasted insets, polished borders, a stainless steel crown, and oblong pushers. The case back is screw-down and exhibits a delicately finished movement through an exhibition sapphire glass. Featuring the impressive Dubois Dépraz DD2022 movement features a 43-hour power
The watch is named after Arnold Jackson who won gold in the 1500m at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics at just 21 years old. He broke the Olympic record and privately entered the tournament after not making the official Great Britain team. The race is known as "the greatest race ever run".

When I bought mine did some research on Mr Jackson.Not only was he fleet of foot also a highly decorated officer in WW1,which he survived.When the Aquitaine Freshwater released loved the colour and a nice change from the BB58.Prefer their style to C Ward.

Nice that you’re finding a piece to celebrate. Your enthusiasm is refreshing at a time when imo too many content creators are leaning into an algorithm that rewards whining. Sometimes the desire for clicks doesn’t make the watch space a more enjoyable place. Your livestream panels have also had a substantial amount of negative smug pontificating as of late that has me hoping that you’ll perhaps adjust the balance a bit. Rooting for you as always.

Very impressive, very attractive watch, with a case that makes big brand offerings many times the price look cheap. Impressively slim at 13.7mm compared to most chronos too. Thanks for sharing Sam 👍

Have it. Love it. It wears beautifully and the dial is mesmorizing. I have 3 Farers and am confident i'll be picking up more in the future. They just overdeliver on design, color, finishing, movements, and customer service time and time again.

I bought my first Farer watch a few weeks ago. Got the Lander GMT 39mm in pink. It is a stunning piece and they seem to care about customer service. The watch strap was top-grain leather, and I could not be more pleased. One downside - lume isn't great... it's adequate.
