That was a funny story! Oh my goodness! I don't even remember if I have been booed off stage ever. I teach group fitness classes, mostly Cardio Kickboxing, and I remember when I taught my first class ever in 2004, I was so nervous but very confident about what I practiced for so many weeks that I didn't care to make one or two mistakes, however that first class turned out really good and i felt so proud of what i was capable of! So now after being teaching GX classes for over 18 years it feels like it's just natural to teach and like I became one with the music beats throughout the teaching process. I really enjoyed your story. Keep the good work!

I love your videos and heart, Holly! I found your channel trying to find some Spanish channels to practice my Spanish over summer break, and you have encouraged me to continue trying to learn Spanish so someday, when I'm a bit smoother and more natural at speaking both languages, I can make my channel bilingual, too. As for being booed off stage, it's never actually happened, but at 14 years old, I wore a white dress that required a slip. I also happened to be wearing bright blue underwear. I went up to the stage to deliver my lines, and came back down to be greeted by my horrified mother whispering, "Your slip bunched up!" EVERYONE in my ninth grade class, along with their parents, and the teachers, had watched me walk upstairs, be in front of bright lights that make sheer fabrics even more transparent, and then walk down..... all with bright blue undies shining clear as day beneath my white dress. I still cringe thinking about it, haha.

I was born in the 40s and have been English-Spanish bilingual for almost my whole life. As an adult, I lived many years in South America, relied on Spanish in my job, and did a lot of "translating" in meetings where some of the attendees were not bilingual. Recently, I was asked how to say, "The judge dismissed the charges." in Spanish, and I gave some sort of translation, but afterward realized that I wasn't really sure how to express "dismissed" when used that way. I've since looked at dictionaries and talked to a bilingual friend, but the Spanish words that I found just don't seem right. So, two questions: 1) What's your best translation of "dismissed?" and, 2) Where do you turn in situations like this?

Hola me llamo sarjano.

Por ejemplo, en el zoo: “I look at the snakes (😱) but I watch the monkeys for an hour! (😻).” !Buena suerte, amigo!
