Technically it is homework. They're working on what they'll tell back in school about what they've done on summer. Could also be that they had not realized yet that they wouldn't get in trouble (or wanted to keep it a surprise).

Hey did you know that the show was in development since 1993? If not well there you go and before Disney picked up the rights to the show it was originally being pitched to Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Fox Family Kids Network Entertainment. But they all turned down the pitch because the show was deemed to ambitious for them but when Disney looked at the show they loved the pitch and was right for them thus we got the show that we all love to this day since 2007 when the show started on Disney Channel and Disney XD!
